We are truly saddened to hear that you are experiencing such spiritual warfare, and we are here to intercede and pray on your behalf. Firstly, it is important to understand that curses do not come from God and they are not sent by Him. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow of change.” (WEB James 1:17)
In any situation, we need to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil. “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (WEB Ephesians 6:12)
Jesus has set you free from every curse. “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.’” (WEB Galatians 3:13)
Therefore, we pray that you stand firm in the freedom that Christ has given you. “Stand therefore, having the belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness.” (WEB Ephesians 6:14)
We pray for your mother, that God would soften her heart and relieve her from any bitterness or anger that may be causing her to act in such a way. “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice.” (WEB Ephesians 4:31)
We also pray for you, that God would bless your economy and your future. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.” (WEB Jeremiah 29:11)
Remember, that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. “In that day you will ask me no more questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.” (WEB John 16:23)
Furthermore, there is no other name by which we can be saved. “In him, you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation—in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,” (WEB Ephesians 1:13)
Finally, let us pray together in the name of Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear friend who is facing spiritual opposition. We ask, Lord, that You would bless their economy and their future, and that You would break any curse that has been spoken against them. We pray for their mother, that You would soften her heart and relieve her from any bitterness or anger. We ask that You would surround them with Your favor as with a shield, and that You would guide them in the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake. We pray for their salvation, that they would come to know You personally and be saved by grace. We ask all of these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
