We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting you, your siblings, and your mother before the Lord, for we know that the words we speak carry power—either for life or for death. The Scripture declares in Proverbs 18:21, *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit."* The curses and negative words spoken over you are not from God, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy seeks to bring confusion, division, and heaviness, but we serve a God who is greater, who breaks every chain and sets the captives free.
The Bible is clear that no curse can stand against those who are in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:13-14 tells us, *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'— that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."* Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, every curse spoken against you is already broken in His name. You are redeemed, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Yet we must also address the heart behind these words. Your mother’s speech may be rooted in bitterness, pain, or spiritual strongholds that have taken root in her life. Ephesians 4:29 commands us, *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."* We pray not only for your protection but also for her deliverance—for God to soften her heart, renew her mind, and fill her with His love so that her words may align with His truth.
We also encourage you to stand firm in faith, speaking life over yourself and your siblings. Declare the Word of God over your home, for Jesus said in John 8:32, *"You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."* When fear or heaviness tries to take hold, resist it with Scripture, worship, and prayer. Surround yourselves with the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and trust that He is your shield and fortress (Psalm 91:4).
Now let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister and their siblings. Lord, You see the pain, confusion, and heaviness that negative words have brought into their lives, and we ask You to break every curse, every lie, and every assignment of the enemy against them. By the blood of Jesus, we cancel every word spoken in anger, bitterness, or malice, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Father, we ask that You would place a guard over their mouths and their mother’s mouth, that only words of life, blessing, and encouragement would flow from her lips.
Lord, we pray for this mother—soften her heart, Lord, and break every stronghold of anger, resentment, or spiritual oppression in her life. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may speak words of grace and truth. Bring healing to her soul, Father, and let Your love cast out every fear.
We ask for Your divine protection over this home. Let Your light shine in the darkness, bringing peace, unity, and joy where there has been strife. Surround our brother/sister and their siblings with Your angels, Lord, and let them walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for them. Fill their hearts with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the knowledge that they are Your beloved children, redeemed and protected by Your might.
Father, we also ask that You would give them wisdom on how to respond to these situations. Should they speak truth in love? Should they set boundaries? Guide them by Your Spirit, Lord, and let them walk in Your discernment.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and heaviness in Jesus’ name. We declare that this home belongs to You, Lord, and that Your presence will dwell there. Bring restoration, healing, and a spirit of unity among them. Let Your will be done in their lives, and let Your glory be revealed through this situation.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to bring breakthrough. May Your name be glorified in all things. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, beloved. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already given you the victory. Continue to speak life, pray without ceasing, and trust that God is working even in the unseen. If there is bitterness or unforgiveness in your own heart toward your mother, release it to the Lord, for unforgiveness can give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). Forgive as Christ has forgiven you, and trust God to bring redemption to this situation.
You are not alone in this. We are standing with you, and most importantly, the Lord is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes on Him, and walk in the authority you have been given as a child of God.
