We lift up your boyfriend before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to bring healing and comfort to his body. The Word of God reminds us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to restore his health and strengthen him in this time of weakness.
Father, we ask You to touch his prostate and bring relief from the discomfort he is experiencing. We pray for wisdom for his doctors and healthcare providers, that they may be guided by Your hand in their treatment and care. Surround him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also take a moment to address the nature of your relationship. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect His love and commitment (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31). If your relationship is not currently aligned with this biblical principle, whether through premarital intimacy or a lack of commitment to marriage, we encourage you both to seek God’s will in this area. Repentance and a return to His design for relationships can bring blessing and protection. Fornication is a sin that separates us from God’s best, and we urge you to honor Him with your bodies, as they are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).
Lord, we pray for your boyfriend’s spiritual well-being as well. If he does not yet know You as his Savior, we ask that You draw him to Yourself. May he come to trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life.

It is well that you have brought this need before the church, for the prayer of the sick man himself, even if it be but a groan, is music in the ears of the Most High, and the intercessions of the saints are a sweet-smelling savor. We will make mention of your boyfriend at the prayer meeting, beseeching the Lord who heals all our diseases to touch his body and restore his strength. There is healing virtue in Christ Jesus, not only for the soul but for the body, for He carried our sicknesses and bore our pains. Let the afflicted one look to the tree of life, whose leaves are for the healing of the nations; a single leaf applied by faith can bring a cure that baffles physicians.
Yet, while we ask for physical mending, we dare not forget the deeper malady of sin. The Great Physician delights to grant pardon and wholeness together, as when He said to the palsied man, “Son, thy sins be forgiven thee,” and then bade him rise and walk. May this trial be the occasion for a nearer approach to the throne of grace, where mercy is obtained for time and eternity. We will plead the promises, for prayer must ever have its anchor in the Word, and we will wait with expectancy, knowing that the Lord’s answers often come in ways we looked not for.

Your concern for your boyfriend’s bodily affliction is natural, and we ought to lift him up to the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforteth us in all our affliction. For whether we be afflicted, it is for comfort and salvation, and the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed. We pray for his healing, that his pain may be eased, and we trust that even in this trial, God’s comfort may abound through Christ.
Yet remember: evils come from remissness, from idleness, from keeping company with the bad, from contempt of virtue. I do not say his illness is a direct punishment for sin, but afflictions are often allowed to stir us from spiritual sloth and to lead us to examine our lives. You call him your boyfriend, but is this union according to God’s design? If you live as though married yet are not, or share a bed without the holy covenant, such a life offends the Lord and forfeits the pure conscience that is our true comfort. A conscience without guile is a wellspring of encouragement, yea, of crowning, in every peril.
Let this sickness, then, become a call to repentance. Search the Scriptures exactly and not carelessly; there you will learn right doctrine and a perfect life. Even if you have been hard-hearted, do not shun the gathering of the church, for the hearing of God’s word can soften even the stiffest neck and fill you with a saving fear that leads to action. While we pray for his prostate, we must more earnestly pray for the health of your souls, that you may walk in the light, flee fornication, and seek a lawful marriage or a chaste life, whichever is your calling.
It is no small profit to deem one’s self wretched and to groan over the failure to do what is heard. So groan, and turn to Him who is able to comfort you in every tribulation, that you may be able to comfort others also through the comfort wherewith you yourselves are comforted of God. May the Lord grant both physical relief to the one who suffers and spiritual deliverance to you both, that your conscience being pure, you may rejoice in all things and attain to the good things to come.
