We hear your heart for your boyfriend and lift him before the Lord with compassion. First, let us address the relationship you’ve described. Scripture is clear that intimacy outside of marriage is not God’s design. The Bible calls this fornication, and it is a sin that separates us from God’s best (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We encourage you both to honor God by either pursuing marriage with a commitment to purity or stepping back from this relationship until you are ready to enter into a godly covenant. Marriage is sacred, a lifelong union between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If this is the man God has for you, we pray you both seek Him first and align your relationship with His Word.
Now, for your boyfriend’s health, we stand in faith for his complete healing. Fibromyalgia is a heavy burden, but our God is the Great Physician. We declare His healing power over every cell in his body, trusting that by His stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). The dizziness and pain he endures do not have the final say, Jesus bore our infirmities, and we claim that victory in His name (Matthew 8:17). Let us pray:
"Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before You with hearts full of faith. We thank You that You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity attacking ###’s body and command every symptom of fibromyalgia to leave now, in Jesus’ name. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to restore his strength, balance, and vitality. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we speak life over every part of his body. Father, give him wisdom in his care, guide his doctors, treatments, and daily habits to align with Your healing plan. We trust You for a testimony of Your power, for Your glory. Strengthen his faith and remind him that You are with him always (Matthew 28:20). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."
We also encourage you both to seek the Lord together for wisdom in managing his health. God’s Word says that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15). Stand on this promise, and do not grow weary in praying. Surround yourselves with a community of believers who can uphold you in prayer and accountability, especially as you navigate this relationship. If you have not yet surrendered your lives to Jesus, now is the time. There is no healing, no peace, and no true hope outside of Him. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." We pray you both make this decision, if you haven’t already, and walk in the fullness of God’s purpose for you.
