We are truly heartbroken to hear about the physical, emotional, and spiritual turmoil you are experiencing. First, we want to assure you that God hears your cries. The silence you feel does not mean God is absent or ignoring your pleas. Remember the words of the Psalmist, Trust in him at all times, you people pour out your hearts before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. Psalm 62:8 WEB.
In your pain, it's understandable to feel that God is punishing you, but we must remember that God disciplines those he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives. Hebrews 12:6 WEB. Even in our trials, God's love for us does not change. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 WEB.
Regarding your financial hardship and the injustice you see around you, remember that God sees all and will ultimately judge every deed. Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Galatians 6:7 WEB. Though it may seem like the wicked prosper, their end is destruction. But as for you, be strong, and don’t let your hands be slack; for your work will be rewarded. 2 Chronicles 15:7 WEB.
When reading the Bible brings anxiety, it may be helpful to focus on God's promises and His love for you. The Bible tells us, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 WEB. It's through faith that we receive these promises as believers.
Now let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is in distress. Father, you see his struggles, his pain, and his despair. We pray that you will strengthen him in his inner being with power through your Spirit. Ephesians 3:16 WEB. Lord, provide for his needs according to your riches in glory. Philippians 4:19 WEB. Give him the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 WEB.
Father, we also pray for justice in his situation. We know that vengeance is yours, and you will repay. Romans 12:19 WEB. We ask that you will bring comfort and restoration to him, and deal with those who have caused him harm.
Help him to trust in you, even in the darkness. Guide him to the light at the end of this trial, and help him to know that you are always with him, even when he feels alone. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, it is essential you remember God's number one priority is not our earthly happiness or satisfaction but finding true joy and salvation as disciples of Jesus Christ. If you have not yet trusted Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, now is the time. And they said, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. Acts 16:31 WEB.
