We come before the Lord with hearts full of hope and trust, lifting up this concern about your upcoming bloodwork and physical results. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every detail of our bodies. We ask that You would grant healthy, normal results for our brother or sister in Christ. If there is anything amiss, we pray for Your healing touch and wisdom for the doctors to provide godly guidance. Your Word reminds us in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.*
Lord, we also ask that You calm any anxiety or fear surrounding these results. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, fill this dear one’s heart as they wait.
If there has been any neglect of the body—whether through poor diet, lack of rest, or other habits that do not honor You—we pray for conviction and a renewed commitment to stewardship. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to care for them as an act of worship.
Above all, we pray that this time of waiting and reflection would draw them closer to You. Whether the results bring relief or a call to action, may they walk in faith, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.
