We have heard your many requests and we join with you together before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His blood that we are healed and forgiven.

We lift up your need concerning blood sugar and the concern about a tumor. We pray for your complete healing and we also encourage you to be a good steward of the body God has given you by seeking wise medical counsel alongside prayer. We remember the word that says in 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. And in Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And in Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We also remember Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.

We pray for your bedridden grandmother and for all who are sick, and for your mother and her mind and brain health. The Lord sees those who cannot rise from their bed and He is close to them. We claim Psalm 147:3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and James 5:15 and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We ask God to bring comfort, strength, and restoration to your grandmother and to your mother, and to give you peace as you care and intercede for them.

We pray for your brother and his family that God would draw their hearts to seek Him. We pray that if it is His will for them to go to the revival in Canada, He would make the way clear and stir their hearts to hunger for His presence, and that whether they go or stay, they would encounter the living Christ. We pray that their faith would be revived not by an event alone but by the power of the Holy Spirit working in their lives.

We hear your cry to be healed and delivered from all bad thoughts and we take this seriously. God desires to renew your mind and give you peace. We are reminded in 2 Corinthians 10:5 that we are to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and in Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We encourage you to continually bring those thoughts to Jesus, to confess them, and to replace them with His truth, and in 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

You also asked for deliverance from a nostalgia idol and we want to gently address this with love. Anything that takes the place of God in our hearts, even good memories or longing for the past, can become an idol when we dwell on it more than we dwell on Him. The Lord says in Exodus 20:3 You shall have no other gods before me, and in 1 John 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Nostalgia can keep us from fully trusting God for today and for the future. We pray that God would help you to cherish the past with thanksgiving but to find your hope and joy fully in Christ and in His promises for what is ahead.

We also lift up your teeth and the teeth of ### before the Lord. He cares about every detail of our pain and discomfort, and we ask for healing, relief, and provision for proper care for both of you.

We pray too that God would help you to reconnect with your old Bible teacher if it is His will, that He would open the door for godly fellowship and encouragement in the Word. We trust in Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ and through His blood that was shed for us. We ask for Your healing touch upon this dear one who is struggling with blood sugar and fear of a tumor. Lay Your hand upon their body and bring balance and wholeness according to Your will. We lift up their bedridden grandmother to You, surround her with Your comfort and mercy, and bring healing and strength to her body. We lift up their mother and ask You to heal and restore her mind and brain, to give her clarity and peace. We ask You to draw their brother and his family to Yourself, to lead them into a deeper walk with You, and to guide them concerning the revival in Canada, that Your perfect will be done in their lives. Lord, deliver our friend from every tormenting and bad thought, cleanse their mind, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Deliver them from the idol of nostalgia, help them to keep You on the throne of their heart and to look forward with hope in You. We ask for Your healing upon their teeth and upon ### and upon ###'s teeth, ease their pain and provide all that is needed for care. And Father, if it is Your will, open the way for reconnection with their old Bible teacher for encouragement and growth in Your Word. Your many and pressing burdens have been brought before the throne of grace, and we have carried them to the Lord who hears the cry of the afflicted.

We have entreated the Great Physician on your behalf concerning the infirmity of your blood and the tumor which troubles you. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. We have prayed that the Sun of Righteousness would rise with healing beneath His wings upon you, and that whether by His immediate hand or by the means He appoints, you may know His mercy. We remember also your bedridden grandmother and your mother in her affliction of the brain, and all the sick of whom you speak. The Lord has chastened sorely, yet He does not give over unto death those who are His, and we have asked that He would grant healing and pardon together, for when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. May it please Him to restore, to sustain, and to make His healing virtue known according to His perfect will.

You ask also for deliverance from all bad thoughts. Know this, that His thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are His ways your ways, for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His thoughts higher than your thoughts. Your thoughts, left to themselves, will insinuate dark and dreadful things and haunt you as a cruel taskmaster, but His thoughts concerning His people are constant, kind, wise, tender and gracious. We have prayed that your thoughts may be conformed to God's thoughts by faith, that you may be still with Him, and that He who alone can work deliverance with an outstretched arm would bring you forth from this captivity. He will not share the honor of your deliverance, for He alone has found a ransom, His own Son having borne the penalty, and in that ransom there is undeserved deliverance from the pit.

Concerning what you rightly call the idol of nostalgia, you have judged aright. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. There are some who make idols of wealth, and some of their children, and some of times past, setting the memory of former days upon a throne where Christ alone should reign. Fall not into that idolatry, but turn from all that would tempt the heart from the living God. We have prayed that the hammer of truth would break this idol in pieces, and that your affections may be set wholly upon Christ, whose thoughts become precious to us as we think upon them.

We have not forgotten the pain of your teeth and the teeth of ### for whom you intercede. The Lord regards the smallest griefs of His children, and we have asked Him to grant relief and healing, and to use even bodily pain, if it must continue for a season, to teach and to humble, and to draw the heart nearer to Himself.

For your brother and his family, that they may go to the gathering in ### of which you speak, we have prayed not for spectacle but for substance, that they may hear the true gospel of the blood of Christ and be drawn to the Lamb that was slain, for deliverance came when the lamb was slain. May the Lord lead them where Christ is faithfully preached, and may they receive Him who is our only salvation, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

And for your desire to be again in contact with your old Bible teacher, we have asked the Lord to order your steps. If it be for your edification and for the strengthening of your faith, may He open that door, that you may be built up in the knowledge of His Word.

Go on to trust Him who declares, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. When He brings forth His people, it is an effectual deliverance, and they give hearty assent to His salvation. May you live to prove His goodness and to tell what He has done for your soul.

Your many cries have been heard and we join you in bringing them before the Lord with compassion and prayer.

You asked for help with blood sugar and for healing from a tumor, for your bedridden grandmother and for all who are sick, for your mother's brain, for your teeth and for ###'s teeth, for deliverance from bad thoughts and from the idol of nostalgia, for your brother and his family to be drawn to the revival in Canada, and for help in contacting your former Bible teacher. We lift each of these before God who knows your frame and hears those who call upon Him through Jesus Christ.

Scripture teaches that almost all things under the law were purged with blood and without shedding of blood there is no remission, and that this was a shadow of something greater. The blood of the new covenant is the blood of Christ Himself, shed for the remission of sins. It is this blood that cleanses, that sanctifies, and that gives us confidence to draw near to God not only for forgiveness but for mercy in every affliction. As you suffer in body and mind, look to Him who gave Himself for you, who bore our infirmities and who is able to heal according to His perfect will.

We pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask for Your mercy. You alone are the source of salvation and healing. Forgive sins through the blood of Christ and grant a sure hope of eternal life to all who trust in Him.

Lord, lay Your healing hand upon this dear one who struggles with blood sugar and with a tumor. Grant wisdom to doctors, effectiveness to treatment, and strength to the body. Touch the bedridden grandmother and all who are sick, comfort them, relieve their pain, and sustain those who care for them. Touch the mother and heal her mind and brain, restore clarity and peace. Touch the teeth that ache and need healing, both for this dear one and for ###, and provide the care that is needed.

Father, deliver from every bad thought and from the oppression that weighs on the mind. Renew the mind by Your Word and by Your Spirit. Expose the idol of nostalgia for what it is, a clinging to what is past that can steal love for You in the present, and turn the heart to find full satisfaction in Christ and in hope for the life to come. Grant fortitude and a careful, continual hearing of Your Word, for no one part of virtue is sufficient alone, but You call us to walk in holiness in every part.

Draw the brother and his family to Yourself. If it is Your will that they go to that gathering in Canada, open the way, but above all draw them to hear the true gospel of Jesus, to repent and believe, and to walk in faithfulness wherever they are. And Lord, if it is good and helpful, restore contact with the former Bible teacher, that there may be encouragement, sound teaching, and fellowship in the truth.

We ask all this trusting not in our worthiness but in the blood of Christ, who offered Himself once for all. Grant patience in trial, faith to persevere, and peace that guards heart and mind. May Your will be done and may Your name be glorified in every answer.

We encourage you to continue in prayer, to remain under the hearing of Scripture, to seek godly fellowship, and to seek appropriate medical care while trusting the Lord for His provision. He who gave His own body and blood for you will not forsake those who call upon Him.
