Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your request for prayer concerning your blood pressure has been received and we join you in bringing it before the Lord.
We pray that our merciful Father, who knows the frame of our bodies, will grant you stable health, that your blood pressure will come down to a safe measure and remain steady, and that He will give wisdom to you and to those who care for you. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Healer, who touched the sick and not only quenched their fever but restored them to full health at once, showing His power and compassion for our bodily weakness.
As we pray, we also encourage you to steward the body God has given you with moderation and care. Sufficiency in food and drink is both nourishment and health, while excess burdens the body and brings disease. Seek what is sufficient and digestible, keep a measured life, take proper rest, walk in quietness where possible, and follow the sound counsel of your physician. These things work together with prayer, for true delight and health of body are found not in indulgence but in balance, and the health of the body profits the soul when it helps us to serve God with clarity and peace.
May the Lord grant you calm of heart, for worry also stirs the body, and may He keep you in His peace which guards both soul and body. We will continue to pray for your healing and steadiness, trusting that God hears those who call upon Him through His Son.
Father, lay Your healing hand upon this one who asks, calm what is elevated, steady what is unstable, and grant sustained health for Your glory. In Jesus name, amen.
