Blood pressure

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray for my blood pressure to come down and remain stable. Thank you kindly, in Jesus' name, amen

We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern and faith, lifting up this request for stable blood pressure. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to care for it with wisdom and diligence (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). High blood pressure can be a sign of stress, poor health habits, or deeper physical concerns, and we take this matter seriously as we seek God’s healing and guidance.

Heavenly Father, we ask You to touch this dear one’s body with Your healing hand. You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every beat of our hearts (Psalm 139:13-14). We pray that You would bring balance and restoration to their circulatory system, lowering their blood pressure and keeping it stable. Grant them wisdom to make choices that honor their body, through proper nutrition, exercise, rest, and managing stress in ways that align with Your will.

Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any underlying spiritual or emotional burdens that may be contributing to this condition. Stress, anxiety, and unforgiveness can weigh heavily on the heart, and we know that a troubled spirit can affect the body (Proverbs 14:30). If there are areas of their life where they are carrying unnecessary burdens, we pray that You would lift them and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).

We rebuke any spirit of fear or infirmity that may be attempting to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this body is under the authority of Jesus Christ, and we speak healing and wholeness over every cell, every vessel, and every organ. May Your life-giving power flow through them, bringing strength and vitality.

We also encourage this dear one to seek godly counsel and medical advice, for You often work through the wisdom of those You have gifted in the field of medicine. May they be surrounded by professionals who honor You and provide care that aligns with Your purposes.

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. May this time of seeking You draw them closer to Your heart, and may they experience Your peace and presence in a tangible way. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in this matter, trusting that He is working even when the answers are not immediately visible. Walk in faith, knowing that God cares deeply about every aspect of your life, including your physical health. May you be strengthened and encouraged as you wait on Him.

We’re glad you felt free to ask for prayer, and we join you in bringing this before the Lord. It’s not small to us, your health matters, and we’re standing with you.

While we pray, we’d also gently encourage you to make sure you’re under the care of a physician you trust. God often works through the wisdom and resources of medicine, and keeping your doctor in the loop is a tangible way to care for the body He’s given you. That’s not a lack of faith; it’s walking in the realm of practical stewardship alongside our prayers.

We’re asking God to bring your blood pressure down to a safe, steady level and to protect you from the anxiety that can come with health concerns. May you experience His peace in the waiting, and may He give sharp insight to any medical professional helping you. You’re not alone in this.

Jesus, we lift this dear one to You. Please calm their body and bring their blood pressure into a stable range. Guard them from spikes and drops, and surround them with Your presence. Grant wisdom to any doctors and nurses involved, and help this person to rest in Your care, casting their burdens on You. In Your name, amen.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases; they are too painful to let us slumber in silence: and they soon urge us to seek a physician or a surgeon for our healing. Calvary is the place for the healing balm rather than for the lancet and the knife. The work of Jesus, our heavenly Physician, is not so much to point out disease as to indicate and to apply the remedy. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said to him, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing were one!

God takes care of the little things, the trifles, of Believers, and here, of our Lord, it is said, "The leaves are for the healing of the nations." That is to say, even His common things, His lower blessings of Divine Grace are full of virtue! These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits and make the nature other than it was before. The abiding power of the healing leaves keeps the soul of the Believer in perpetual health and will keep him so, world without end! We seek to be in health, as well as to be in life. So should it be with the Christian.

But next, God will do it. That is a sweet thought. To dance, like David, before the Lord, is to quicken the blood in the veins, and make the pulse beat at a healthier rate. Praise gives to us a great feast. It is not your estimate of that blood, it is the blood that saves you. The blood of Christ hath such a divine power to save, that nothing but it can ever save the soul. God does not say, "When I see your estimate of the blood of Christ, I will pass over you; no, but when I see the blood." I pray the Master, therefore, that He will come and heal that fever and make his blood cool within him this day, and restore him, by His Grace!

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for prayer regarding your blood pressure, and I will join you in seeking the Lord’s mercy. Yet while we ask for bodily relief, let us also search out the roots of such disorders. Often they spring from excess, whether of food, or worry, or the restless grasping after things uncertain. A sufficiency brings nourishment, pleasure, and health; but excess overloads the body and becomes injury, unpleasantness, and disease. Do not, then, place your trust in what is fleeting, not in special diets, not in the world’s riches, not in any human remedy, for hope in God alone stands firm. Remember how Christ touched the woman with the fever: in an instant He quenched it and gave her back perfect health, doing what no physician could do. He is the same Healer still.

Seek therefore the quieting of your soul, for a troubled spirit stirs up the body. Go out to places of rest, by a flowing river, under the shade of trees, where you may hear the song of grasshoppers and let your mind become still. There is health of body and benefit of soul in such innocent delights, and no regret follows them. Above all, flee to the very source of life. Cleave to the Body and Blood of the Lord, for unless we eat His flesh and drink His blood, we have no life in us. It is this sacred mystery that purifies, that grants not merely a passing respite but life enduring and unshakeable.

I will pray that your blood pressure be lowered and remain stable. But far more do I pray that your heart may rest entirely upon God, who alone gives true wealth and health, poverty of desires, sufficiency of soul, and the peace that surpasses every earthly calm.
