🙇🏻 Jesus, thank You for "the sprinkling of blood" by which our consciences are cleansed from works that lead to death so we might serve The Living God, Heb 9:13-14. Thank You for suffering, dying on the cross publicly, being pierced, buried, descending to hell, rising from the dead, and ascending, so that You could pour out Your Inheritance, Heb 9:15-17, through The Promised Holy Spirit, Isa 32:15-16, Isa 44:3-4, Ezek 36:26-27, Joel 2:28-32, Luke 24:49, John 14:16, John 15:26, Acts 1:4, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:33, Eph 1:13, Gal 3:1. 🙌

🙌 We thank You we for ability to enter into the Holiest by The Blood of Jesus Our Sympathetic High Priest Forever to freely receive mercy and find grace for help in time of need, Heb 4:15-16 (as a baby in the womb receives nutrients from its mother's umbilical cord freely without having done anything to deserve or earn the nutrition), Connection to Vine, John 15:1-2, (as the branches, and leaves receive the life-giving sap from the grape vine quite naturally and then produce luscious and ripe grapes quite effortlessly).

We join you in thanking our Lord Jesus Christ for the precious blood that gives us boldness to draw near to God, and we rejoice with you in this deep hunger for fellowship with the Father and the Son.

Your prayer beautifully reflects what Scripture teaches, that we have boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh Heb 10:19-20. That veil was torn at the cross, and because of His suffering, His being pierced, His death and burial and resurrection and ascension, we now have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens. For we do not have a high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin Heb 4:15. Therefore we are invited to draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need Heb 4:16.

We agree with you in thanking Him for how much more the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without defect to God, will cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God Heb 9:14. It is only through that sprinkled blood and His finished work that we are cleansed and made able to serve, not by our own effort, but as branches abiding in the Vine. As Jesus said, I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing John 15:5. Your image of the branch receiving sap and the child receiving nourishment is a fitting picture of grace, for it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure Phil 2:13, and we bear fruit as we remain in Him.

We also join you in praying for that renewed nearness and first love. Scripture calls us to draw near to God, and he will draw near to you James 4:8, and to remember and return to our first love Rev 2:4-5. We pray with you for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him Eph 1:17, and that He would open your mind to understand the Scriptures Luke 24:45, so that you may be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth 2 Tim 2:15. We pray too for that clarity and order, for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace 1 Cor 14:33, and for grace to maintain good works to meet necessary needs Tit 3:14, and for simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ 2 Cor 11:3.

We stand with you for fellowship with Him and with one another, for we are God's fellow workers 1 Cor 3:9, and that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us. Yes, and our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ 1 John 1:3. And we agree for His protection and ministering care, for He will give his angels command concerning you, to guard you in all your ways Ps 91:11, for are they not all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation Heb 1:14.

We join you in asking for boldness in proclaiming repentance and remission of sins in His name to all the nations Luke 24:47, that many would believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing they may have life in his name John 20:31, and for the restoration of the joy of salvation Ps 51:12, so that you may teach transgressors His ways and sinners shall be converted to Him Ps 51:13.

Heavenly Father, we thank You together for the blood of Jesus that has made a way behind the veil into Your very presence. We thank You for our sympathetic High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek Ps 110:4, Heb 7:17, the one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Tim 2:5. We ask You to keep us abiding in Christ, cleansed in conscience, rooted in Your Word, renewed in first love, and diligent to tend the garden You have entrusted to us Gen 2:15. Grant us wisdom and revelation to know You more, clarity and order in our daily chores and callings, and pure fellowship with You and with Your people. Keep us from temptation and deliver us from evil Matt 6:13, from stumbling blocks Rom 14:13, from deception and from the evil one John 17:15, and guard us by Your angels. Let our lives bear much fruit quietly and naturally as we remain in the Vine, and let our proclamation of repentance and forgiveness bring many to faith. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have access in one Spirit to You Eph 2:18, amen.

We read your prayer with gratitude. Your thankfulness for the blood of Jesus and the open way into God's presence came through so clearly, and we join you in thanking Him for that confidence and nearness. We also hear your desire to stay close, to keep a pure devotion to Christ, and to tend faithfully what God has put in your hands at home, at work and with others.

What you described, mercy for daily needs, wisdom for pressing matters, and fellowship with God and with people, is how that nearness takes shape in ordinary life. When the heart is settled in Christ, even routine chores and relationships can be carried with more peace and clarity. We encourage you to keep bringing these simple thanks and requests to Him day by day, and to share this life with other believers who can walk alongside you, pray with you and help you stay rooted in the Word together.

Father, we thank You for drawing us near through Jesus and for the grace You pour out freely. Keep our friend close to You, renew first love, grant wisdom and order for each responsibility, and guard from temptation and evil. Make Your presence known in home and community and deepen fellowship with You and with others. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

The confidence of which you speak is no presumption of the flesh, but the blessed privilege purchased by blood. By the sprinkling of that precious blood our consciences are cleansed from dead works to serve the living God, and the veil which once shut us out is rent from top to bottom. There we see what the Scriptures declare, that the living God is not far from any one of us, for in Him we live and move and have our being, and yet we could never have drawn near unto Him save by the Mediator who went up into the thick darkness and made reconciliation for us.

We join our thanksgiving with yours for our great High Priest who suffered and was pierced, who died and was buried, who rose and ascended, and who now ever lives to pour out His inheritance through the promised Holy Spirit. It is by His blood alone that we have boldness to enter into the holiest, not as those who worship afar off at the foot of the mount, but as those who are brought nigh through union with Christ. In the very first hour of conversion, in baptism by faith where we behold Jesus buried for us, and at the table where we remember His death, all our nearness lies in the blood.

We pray with you that the Lord will keep you in that nearness and not suffer you to come down again to the world. May the Holy Spirit, who is wisdom and revelation, give you to know God better, to understand the Word, to continue in study and in intercession, and to walk in simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. May He grant you clarity and order, for God is not the author of confusion, and so give you happy grace for daily chores and wisdom for pressing needs, and sweet fellowship with the Father and the Son by the Spirit, and with your household and the saints.

We ask also as you have asked, that the Lord would keep you from stumbling blocks and from every form of evil, from temptation and from the snares of the evil one, and that He would give you repentance and the joy of forgiveness, that you may proclaim with fresh assurance the forgiveness of sins through faith in His name and see sinners converted. Though we are weak in ourselves, and often stagger at the promises, the Lord makes His strength perfect in weakness, and those who are weak in themselves are made strong in Him.

May the sense of His living presence lift you out of dead self and make even your lowliest service glorious, for where Jesus is known as Emmanuel, God with us, the humblest place shines as the mount of transfiguration. We commend you to the one Mediator between God and man, the Lord Jesus Christ, our Priest forever after the order of Melchizedek, through whose blood we freely receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. May you abide in the Vine and so bear fruit, not by striving but by receiving His life as the branch receives the sap, to the praise of His grace. Amen.
