Beloved of All
🙇🏻 Jesus, thank You for "the sprinkling of blood" by which our consciences are cleansed from works that lead to death so we might serve The Living God, Heb 9:13-14. Thank You for suffering, dying on the cross publicly, being pierced, buried, descending to hell, rising from the dead, and ascending, so that You could pour out Your Inheritance, Heb 9:15-17, through The Promised Holy Spirit, Isa 32:15-16, Isa 44:3-4, Ezek 36:26-27, Joel 2:28-32, Luke 24:49, John 14:16, John 15:26, Acts 1:4, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:33, Eph 1:13, Gal 3:1. 🙌

🙌 We thank You we for ability to enter into the Holiest by The Blood of Jesus Our Sympathetic High Priest Forever to freely receive mercy and find grace for help in time of need, Heb 4:15-16 (as a baby in the womb receives nutrients from its mother's umbilical cord freely without having done anything to deserve or earn the nutrition), Connection to Vine, John 15:1-2, (as the branches, and leaves receive the life-giving sap from the grape vine quite naturally and then produce luscious and ripe grapes quite effortlessly).

We join together with you in thanksgiving for the blood of Jesus and the confidence we have to enter the holy place behind the veil through His finished work.

We agree with you that it is only by the sprinkling of His blood that our consciences are cleansed from dead works to serve the living God, for how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without defect to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God Heb 9:14. We thank Him with you for His suffering, His public death on the cross, His being pierced, buried, risen and ascended, that He might pour out His inheritance as the Mediator of a new covenant, for a will is in force where there has been death Heb 9:15-17, and through the promised Holy Spirit whom the Father has given to those who believe.

We rejoice that we have boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus Heb 10:19 and that we have not a high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin Heb 4:15. Therefore we draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need Heb 4:16, just as you have prayed, receiving freely as a branch receives life from the vine, for apart from Him we can do nothing John 15:5, yet abiding in Him we bear much fruit.

We pray together for what you have asked, that we may draw near to God and He will draw near to us James 4:8, that our first love may be renewed and kept, that we may each tend the vineyard and garden God has given us to keep Gen 2:15 and not neglect our own Song 1:6. We ask the Father of glory to give us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him Eph 1:17 and to open our minds that we might understand the Scriptures Luke 24:45, that we may be diligent to present ourselves approved by God, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth 2 Tim 2:15.

We ask for His clarity and order, for God is not a God of confusion but of peace 1 Cor 14:33, for grace for daily chores and wisdom for pressing needs that we may not be unfruitful Tit 3:14, for true fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ 1 John 1:3 and for our being God's fellow workers 1 Cor 3:9 with our families, teams and friends, and with those who are still lost. We ask Him to keep us in simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ 2 Cor 11:3 and we thank Him for His promise to give His angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways Ps 91:11, for are they not all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation Heb 1:14.

We join you in praying for the proclamation of repentance and remission of sins in His name to all the nations Luke 24:47, that many may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing they may have life in His name John 20:31, and that we may know that we have eternal life 1 John 5:13. We pray with you for the restoration of the joy of His salvation that through our witness sinners may be converted Ps 51:12-13.

And we agree together for protection from temptation and deliverance from evil Matt 6:13, that we may not put a stumbling block in a brother's way Rom 14:13 and give no occasion for stumbling 1 Cor 10:32, that we may be kept from wrongdoing, fear and lies, for the remnant of Israel will not do iniquity nor speak lies Zeph 3:13, and from evil people and imposters who will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived 2 Tim 3:13. We pray that the Lord who is faithful will guard us from the evil one 2 Thess 3:3 and keep us from every evil work John 17:15, for there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Tim 2:5, who is a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek Ps 110:4.

Father, we thank You for this confidence and nearness, for mercy and grace freely given, and we ask You to keep us abiding, fruitful, pure and protected until we see You face to face, all in the name of Jesus Christ our sympathetic High Priest forever, amen.

We were so encouraged reading your prayer of thanks. Your heart for nearness to God comes through so clearly, and the pictures you used of a child quietly receiving nourishment and branches simply receiving life from the vine capture grace so well. It is a gift to linger in that kind of gratitude. We join you in thanking Him for that freedom and kindness.

We also hear your desire to tend well what God has placed in your care, your vineyard and garden, your team and family and friends, with clarity and simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. Thanksgiving like yours often grows even stronger when it is spoken aloud with others. If you have a small fellowship, a Bible study, or a few trusted believers you meet with regularly, sharing this kind of thanks together can deepen both your own joy and theirs as you encourage one another around the Word and in prayer.

We are praying with you to keep walking in that quiet, steady dependence day by day.

Father, we thank You with our friend for the way You have made for us to draw near through Jesus. Keep their heart resting in Your mercy and grace. Give them quiet joy in ordinary work, wisdom for what is pressing, and sweet fellowship with You and with those You have placed nearby. Keep them close in Your love and guard them from what would distract or harm. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in thanksgiving for that precious truth which is the very marrow of our confidence, that we have boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, behind the veil. This nearness to God is not by any merit of our own, for Christ is Himself God, and as Man without spot or blemish, and as having finished the work given Him to do, He is near to God in character and acceptance, and we who are one with Him must be near also. As you have well said, we never get to God in prayer unless it is through pleading that precious blood, and at the mercy seat we perceive our nearness most manifestly, for the sprinkling of blood cleanses our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.

We praise the Lord with you for His suffering, His being pierced and buried, His rising and ascending, that He might pour out His inheritance through the promised Holy Spirit, and that we might freely receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need through our sympathetic High Priest who is touched with the feeling of our infirmities. Like the branch receiving sap from the vine, we live not by striving but by abiding, and the fruit follows quite naturally when the connection is maintained.

We pray with you for that nearness which James speaks of, that as we draw near to God He will draw near to us, and for the renewal of first love of which John warns in Revelation. God remembers the kindness of our youth, the love of our espousals, and He prizes our first prayers and first zeal. If that love has grown cold, let us return continually to first principles, to the great foundation stone, the cross of Christ, and to communion with Him, for every decline of love to God is the root of sin, and perfect love to God leads to a life with God. May the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation grant you to know Him better, to understand the Word and to rightly divide it, and to walk in the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.

We ask the Lord to grant you clarity and order, for He is not the author of confusion, and to give happy grace for daily chores and wisdom for pressing needs, and fellowship with the Father and the Son through the Spirit, and with your family and all whom He has placed about you. We pray for the proclamation of repentance and forgiveness, that the joy of His salvation restored may make you an instrument for the conversion of sinners, and that you may be strengthened for service, for love to God laughs at impossibilities and constrains us to serve.

We join you in asking for protection from temptation and from the evil one, from stumbling blocks and wrongdoing, from fear and lies and from the deceit of imposters, and for the ministry of His watchful care over you. May you be kept abiding in Christ, loving Him who first loved us, for His love to us begets our love to Him, and therein is our strength and our ecstatic joy. We commend all these mercies to God through the one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, our Priest forever after the order of Melchizedek, in whose name alone we have access and confidence. Amen.
