Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your longing to enter with confidence into the very center of the love shared between the Father and the Son is the heart of what God desires for you, and it is beautiful to see you ask not only to enter there yourself but to bring others with you.

God is love, and He has shown what that love is not by pointing to nature or to our own feelings, but by sending His only Son. Here is love, not that we loved God, but that God loved us and sent His Son to be the offering for our sins. When you wonder if God truly loves you, look to the cross. There God gave His Son so that you might live through Him, and that same sacrifice is the ground for the boldness you are asking for. Hebrews 10:19 says we have boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, through the veil. That way was opened not by your effort but by His suffering, His being pierced, His death and resurrection and ascension, so that through Him the promise of the Holy Spirit could be poured out.

Because of the sprinkling of His blood your conscience is cleansed from works that lead to death so you can serve the living God. Hebrews 9 speaks of this, and Hebrews 4 reminds us that we have a sympathetic High Priest who understands our weakness, so we can come freely to receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. You pictured it well as a branch receiving sap from the vine. In John 15 Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. The branch does not strain to produce life, it simply abides and receives, and fruit comes naturally. In the same way you do not earn entrance into that holy place. You receive it by faith in what Jesus has already done.

That fellowship you desire is exactly what John wrote about when he said that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, so that you also may have fellowship with us, and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, and these things are written so that your joy may be full. Jesus Himself prayed as one entering the Holy of Holies in John 17, asking the Father that the love with which the Father loved Him may be in us because He dwells in us. When a person confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in him and he in God, and he comes to know and believe the love God has for him. To dwell in that love is to dwell in God and God in him.

There is a way this life is proved and kept. If we love Him we will keep His words, and the Father and the Son will come and make their home with us. And the test of whether His Spirit is truly at work in us is love. Everyone who loves with that self giving love is born of God and knows God, because that kind of love cannot be manufactured by human effort. It is the fruit of His presence. That is why the greatest commandments remain to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself, and why if we love God we will also love our brothers and sisters. The only labor God truly receives is the labor of love, and the patience of hope that waits on Him.

So continue to draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Ask for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation that you may know Him better and understand His Word, that you may study to show yourself approved and intercede for others. Ask Him to keep your devotion to Christ simple and pure, to restore first love where it has grown cold, and to give you grace for daily duties and wisdom for pressing needs. He is faithful to give clarity and order, and to guard you from stumbling blocks, from fear and lies, from deception and from the evil one, and to give the ministry and protection of His angels as He wills.

I pray that the Father will make real to you today the bold entrance you already have through the blood of Jesus, that you will live in conscious fellowship with the Father and the Son by the Holy Spirit, receiving mercy and grace freely, abiding in the Vine, and bearing fruit without striving. And I pray that as your joy is made full in that fellowship, you will be able to declare what you have seen and heard so that others may be drawn into the same fellowship, that they too may know the love that sent the Son to be their Savior and come to live in the light of it. May grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, be yours in truth and in love, in the name of Jesus Christ, the one mediator between God and man, our priest forever.
