We join with you in this beautiful and deep hunger for boldness through the blood of Jesus to enter into the very center of the love and fellowship between the Father and the Son, and we say amen to your desire to bring others there with you.

We love how you have anchored this prayer in the finished work of Christ, for we agree that it is only by His blood that we have confidence to draw near. As it is written, Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh Heb 10:19-20. That veil was torn when He was pierced and suffered for us, and now there is no barrier to communion with God for those who are in Christ. We also rejoice with you in that fellowship described in 1 John 1:3, that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us. Yes, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ, and that you long for others to enter that same real place of love.

We thank Jesus with you for the sprinkling of His blood by which our consciences are cleansed. For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify to the cleanness of the flesh how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without defect to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God Heb 9:13-14. We give thanks that He suffered, died publicly, was pierced, buried, rose from the dead and ascended on high so that He could pour out His inheritance through the promised Holy Spirit, as you have prayed. Jesus Himself said I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever John 14:16, and this is the promise that has been poured out upon all who believe.

We agree with you that we can now enter the holiest as a child receives freely, not by earning. For we don't have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need Heb 4:15-16. What a picture you shared of the branch abiding in the vine, for Jesus said I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing John 15:5. We pray that we all would remain there, not striving in dead works, but receiving His life naturally and bearing fruit effortlessly by His grace.

We lift up your petitions for nearness, for first love renewal, and for the ability to tend the gardens God has given us to keep Gen 2:15. We ask the Father to draw us near as we draw near to Him, for it is written Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you James 4:8. We pray He would restore to us the simplicity and the purity of devotion to Christ 2 Cor 11:3 and renew our first love Rev 2:4. We ask for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation that we may know Him better Eph 1:17 and that He would open our minds to understand the Scriptures Luke 24:45, helping us to be diligent to present ourselves approved to God, a workman who doesn't need to be ashamed, correctly handling the Word of Truth 2 Tim 2:15.

We also pray with you for clarity and order, for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace 1 Cor 14:33, for happy grace in daily chores and wisdom for pressing needs Tit 3:14, and for true fellowship with the Trinity and with one another as fellow workers for God 1 Cor 3:9. We pray for angelic protection and ministry, for He will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways Ps 91:11, for are they not all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation Heb 1:14.

We join you in praying for the proclamation of repentance and forgiveness of sins Lk 24:47, that many would believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing they may have life in his name John 20:31. We pray for the restoration of the joy of salvation Ps 51:12 that would overflow into the conversion of sinners. And we agree for protection from temptation and evil Matt 6:13, from stumbling blocks Rom 14:13, from wrongdoing and lies Zeph 3:13, and that the Lord would deliver us from evil people and the evil one 2 Thess 3:2-3, John 17:15, for faithful is the Lord, who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one.

Father, we thank You together for the one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Tim 2:5, our Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek Ps 110:4, Heb 7:17. We come only through His name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved Acts 4:12, and we have boldness only through His blood. Make this fellowship in the center of Your love more real to us than what our eyes see, and make us vessels to bring others into that same light and joy, that our joy may be made full 1 John 1:4. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We were so encouraged to read your overflow of thanksgiving. Your longing to live in the very center of love between the Father and the Son, and to bring others with you there, is a tender reflection of what Christ has opened for us.

We love how you described receiving mercy and grace as freely as a branch receives life from the vine. That picture captures how nearness to God is not something we earn by effort, but something we learn to remain in. Growth in that place tends to be quiet and gradual, more like training over time than a single mountaintop moment, with seasons of clarity and seasons where we are simply learning to stay close.

One simple way to keep tending that fellowship is to keep the core rhythms you named close at hand, unhurried time in the Word, honest prayer, and worship with other believers who can encourage you, and sharing what you are receiving with one or two trusted friends so the joy becomes shared.

Father, we thank You for the blood of Jesus that has opened the way for us to draw near with confidence. Keep our friend rooted in Your love, renew first love daily, give wisdom for everyday work and relationships, and use their life to gently draw others into fellowship with You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer breathes the very spirit of that boldness of which the apostle speaks when he says, let us come boldly unto the throne of grace. How precious is the truth you have laid hold upon, that by the blood of Jesus we have confidence to enter into the holiest, even behind the veil, into the very center of love where the Father and the Son have fellowship from eternity.

I rejoice with you in this, for it is not by works that lead to death, but by the sprinkling of that precious blood that our consciences are cleansed to serve the living God. He suffered and was pierced, He was buried and rose, He ascended on high that He might pour out His inheritance through the promised Holy Spirit, and now we who were far off are made nigh by that same blood. Think of it, that a sinner should be welcomed into the fellowship which is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, as John declares, that your joy may be full. This is love abounding, love that visits us even when we have provoked Him, love that says, I have created you, I have redeemed you, you are mine.

And you do well to pray for nearness to God and for the renewal of your first love. God remembers with grace the best things of His people's early days, the kindness of your youth, the love of your espousals. He delights in your first prayers, your first praises, your first turnings from sin, as a father delights in the lisping of his child. Yet how often that first love does not last half so long as we could wish. That blazing, burning love which the world counts as foolish grows cold when we neglect communion with Christ and cease to go back continually to the great foundation stone, the cross. Therefore your prayer for renewal is most needful. Nothing that God has made is self existent, all created things need renewal, and how much more does our love need the Holy Spirit to constrain us to return to the simple earnestness of our first love, lest we slip and slide till we must cry, renew a right spirit within me.

You ask rightly for wisdom and revelation to know Him better, for understanding in the Word, for clarity and order, for simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. Abide in Him as the branch abides in the vine, receiving the life giving sap quite naturally, and you shall bring forth fruit without strain. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and let Christ be first and self be last, with nothing between but love. It is a divine love, an immeasurable love proven by an immeasurable gift, and it is an abiding love, for He who loved you still loves you, He cannot love you more, He will not love you less.

I join my heart with yours in asking the Lord to keep you in that fellowship with the Trinity and with His people, to make you steadfast in the proclamation of repentance and forgiveness, to restore to you the joy of His salvation that you may teach transgressors His ways, and to guard you from all stumbling blocks, from wrongdoing and fear and lies, from evil men and from the evil one. May He grant you happy grace for daily chores, wisdom for pressing needs, and the ministry of His angels to keep you in all your ways.

We ask this not as those who come in our own name, but through Jesus Christ, the one Mediator between God and man, our sympathetic High Priest forever after the order of Melchizedek, who ever lives to make intercession for us. In His name we come boldly, and in His name we trust to be heard. Amen.

We join you in giving thanks for the blood of Jesus by which we have confidence to enter the holy place behind the veil as Hebrews 10:19 teaches, and to come with boldness to the throne of grace to receive mercy and find help in time of need. Your prayer rightly remembers that this boldness is not our own achievement but the gift purchased for us when Christ suffered, was pierced, died, was buried, rose and ascended, and then poured out His inheritance through the promised Holy Spirit. As you said, we receive this life as a branch receives sap from the vine or a child in the womb receives nourishment, freely and without earning it, cleansed from dead works to serve the living God according to Hebrews 9:13 to 14.

This boldness of which you speak is a great virtue. It is the freedom to confess Christ openly before others, as a herald proclaims what he has heard without adding or taking away, with confidence that God Himself will open a door for the word. True boldness is not loud anger or harshness, but courage joined to gentleness and a clear conscience, like that of Elijah and John the Baptist who spoke the truth before kings without fear. It is quiet strength that comes from trusting not in riches or in ourselves, but in the poverty of spirit that depends wholly on Christ our sympathetic High Priest forever after the order of Melchizedek, the one mediator between God and man.

We pray with you for what you have asked. May the Lord draw you near as you draw near to Him according to James 4:8, and renew your first love as in Revelation 2:4. May He give you grace to tend the garden He has entrusted to you and to care for your own vineyard, and to give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know Him better and to understand the Scriptures as in Ephesians 1:17 and Luke 24:45. We ask for diligence in study, faithfulness in intercession, and the clarity and order that comes from God who is not a God of confusion, so that your daily work, your chores and pressing needs, may be done with joyful grace and wisdom, and that your fellowship with the Father and the Son and with your family, friends, team and those who are yet lost may grow in simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ as in 2 Corinthians 11:3 and 1 John 1:1 to 4.

We also agree with you for the proclamation of repentance and forgiveness in Jesus name as in Luke 24:47, for living faith and assurance, and for the restoration of joy that leads sinners to turn to Him. And we pray for your protection from temptation and evil as the Lord taught us to pray in Matthew 6:13, from every stumbling block, from wrongdoing, fear and lies, from evil people and deception, from sin and from the evil one, that you may be kept blameless and walk in the light. May angels guard your going out and coming in, and may the Lord keep you in His love and cause you to bring others with you into that very center of love and fellowship which the blood has opened, to the glory of Jesus Christ our Lord in whose name we pray, Amen.
