We join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord and we thank you for sharing what has weighed on your mind since childhood. We understand how a long standing block in the mind can feel heavy and discouraging, and we believe God cares deeply about the thoughts that trouble you and He desires to bring healing and peace.
Scripture tells us that God is the one who heals the inner heart, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We are also called to not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God Romans 12:2. The enemy often tries to build strongholds in our thoughts from early experiences, but we are given authority in Christ to be throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5. God does not want you to live bound by fear or old patterns, for He says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
We also hear your desire for financial blessing. We know financial pressure is real and God understands your needs. His promise is My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. Yet we are also taught to keep our hearts aligned with His purposes, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. Financial blessing is not only about receiving more but about walking in stewardship, diligence and contentment while trusting Him to provide as we seek His will first.
We noticed your request speaks of god but does not mention Jesus Christ. We gently share this because it is so important for your prayer life and your eternity. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And scripture declares There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is only through faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we have access to God and can be saved. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior we encourage you to call upon His name today, confess your sins and believe in Him, for whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
We now pray together for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord You know the block that has rested on their mind since childhood, every memory, every wound, every lie that has taken root. We ask that You gently remove it by Your loving hand. Renew their mind by Your Spirit and Your Word, replace fear and heaviness with Your peace which surpasses all understanding. Guard their heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus as it is written In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Heal what has been broken and set them free to walk in the hope and future You have planned, for You have said For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.
Lord we also bring their financial needs before You. Provide for them according to Your riches in glory, grant wisdom to steward what You provide, open doors for honest work and opportunity, and teach them to trust You as Jehovah Jireh their provider. Help them to seek Your kingdom first and to find contentment in You while You supply what is needed.
We pray this all in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring these matters to God daily in Jesus name, to spend time in His Word which renews the mind, and to seek fellowship with other believers who can support you in prayer and godly counsel. If the childhood block involves deep trauma, consider also seeking wise Christian counseling alongside prayer. Trust that God is gently at work even when progress feels slow, for He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.
