Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. We have read your request and we join with you in bringing this heavy burden of debt before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, and we thank you for coming humbly asking for forgiveness and for help, for it is precious that you have come in the name of Jesus who alone gives us access to the Father.

We hear the distress, the shame you feel before your family, the constant calls and visits, the threats of legal action and of contacting friends and family, and the fear that this harassment could cost you your new job. We understand how this robs your peace and disrupts your home, and we want to stand with you in prayer for God's protection, provision, and wisdom.

Scripture teaches us about both God's provision and our responsibility. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also hear your heart that you desire to repay everyone, and that desire honors God. The Word says in Psalm 37:21 The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously, and in Romans 13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another. Proverbs 22:7 also reminds us The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender. For this reason we must gently address one part of your request. We cannot in good conscience ask God to simply cause legitimate debts to be closed and to require no further payment if there is still a lawful balance owed, even if you feel you have already paid more than you borrowed through high interest. To ask for a miracle that cancels what we still truly owe would not align with integrity before God. Instead we pray for God to give you the grace and means to repay what is truly owed in a just and honest way, and to deliver you from any unjust or predatory demands. If interest or charges have been unfair or unlawful, we pray for favor and for wise counsel to help you resolve that justly.

We also pray about your request for a personal loan without hassle. While God can provide through many means, we urge caution about taking on new debt to pay old debt without wise counsel and a clear plan, lest the burden grow heavier. Proverbs 21:5 says The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and every one who is hasty surely rushes to poverty. We encourage you to seek godly financial counsel, to make a diligent budget, to live within your means, to be faithful and diligent in your new job as unto the Lord, and to communicate honestly and in writing with creditors about realistic repayment plans rather than hiding or avoiding them. Seeking first His Kingdom is the foundation, for Matthew 6:33 says But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

We pray now together for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You that You are near to those who have a broken heart as Psalm 34:18 says, and that You hear our prayers. We ask for Your forgiveness where we have fallen short and we thank You for Your mercy through Jesus. Lord we lift up this dear one who is burdened by debt and by fear. We ask You to grant peace that surpasses understanding to guard this heart and this family. Lord we ask for Your divine provision for every legitimate need, for wisdom to steward finances faithfully, for strength and diligence in this new job that You have provided, and for that job to be protected and established. Father we ask that You would stop unjust harassment, threats, and shame brought upon this family and friends, and that You would put a hedge of protection around this home so that no visit would bring harm or disorder, and that collectors would act lawfully and justly. Give favor in the eyes of those to whom money is owed, open doors for honest communication and for fair repayment arrangements, and expose and correct any unjust interest or practices. If it is Your will to provide a personal loan or other provision to consolidate these debts, we ask that You would do so in a way that is clear, honest, and not leading into deeper bondage, and that You would grant wisdom to avoid hasty decisions. Teach us to owe no one anything except love, to work diligently, and to trust You as our provider. We ask for Your miracle of peace, guidance, and resolution, not to avoid responsibility but to fulfill it with Your help. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.

One practical step that can help bring a little more peace and clarity is to get everything in one place on paper. List each debt, who it is owed to, the amount and interest, and keep a simple log of calls and visits with dates and what was said. From there, it can help to sit down soon with a trusted, reputable counselor, a nonprofit credit counseling service, a financial advisor through your bank, or a wise pastor or mentor, who can look at the full picture with you and help you contact each lender in writing about a realistic repayment plan and about contacting only you, not family or friends. Having a clear record and a single plan to point to often reduces the back and forth and protects your work hours.

We are asking God to give you wisdom, steady work, and calm in your home as you walk this through.

Father, we lift our brother to You in Jesus' name. You see his burden, his family, and his need for provision and peace. Give him wisdom for each decision, favor at work, respectful communication with those he owes, and daily strength to take the next faithful step. Guard his home with Your peace. Amen.

Your burden has been brought before the Lord and we have heard your cry for forgiveness, for peace in your home, and for deliverance from the weight of debt and the distress of constant calls and threats. We do not take lightly the shame you feel before your family, nor the fear that this pressure may cost you your employment. It is right that you have come in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name whereby we can be saved, and no other foundation for peace between God and man.

The Scriptures speak of a peace that is more than the quieting of outward trouble. "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You." That perfect peace is not found in the silencing of a phone or the closing of an account, but in knowing that our far greater debt, the enormous debt of sin, has been fully discharged by the Lord Jesus Christ through His blood for all who believe. As it is written, "Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Christ has left us peace in the conscience because He has made peace with God by His blood. He is our peace. Any other peace which is sought at the expense of truth is a false peace, where men cry "Peace, peace, where there is no peace."

For this reason we must pray with you according to what is right and true. The Word teaches us that the righteous desire to repay what they owe, while "the wicked borrow and pay not again." A person who is in debt ought not to seek a false peace by asking God to set aside a lawful obligation. If you have borrowed and agreed to terms including interest, integrity before God calls you to fulfill that agreement as you are able, even as you trust Him to provide. We cannot ask God to bless the cancelling of a just debt without payment, nor to grant a miracle that would allow what is owed to be left unpaid. To do so would be to seek peace without truth, and that peace will not stand.

What we do ask, and what we will continue to ask for you, is this:

We ask that God, who is the God of peace, would first give you a sure peace with Himself through faith in Christ, that the blood of Jesus would whisper peace within your conscience, and that from that fountain you might know the crystal stream of a quiet heart even while sorrows surge around you.

We ask that He would grant you wisdom and strength to act with honesty and diligence, to communicate truthfully with those to whom you owe, to seek godly counsel and, where needed, lawful advice concerning harassment and threats, and to make faithful provision to repay what is owed little by little as God enables you. True peace comes not from escaping duty, but from doing the will of Jesus in the ordinary pressures of life, for to do His will is rest.

We ask that the Lord would in His mercy restrain all unlawful harassment and threatening, that your family and friends would be spared from fear, that your home would be kept in quietness, and that your new employment would be preserved, so that by honest labor you may have wherewith to pay and to do good.

We ask that He would not lead you into a hasty or burdensome loan that would only increase your snare, but that He would provide for your needs through lawful means, teach you stewardship, contentment, and patient endurance, and open a way that is consistent with truth and prudence.

May the Lord keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed on Him. May you find that the peace of God which passes all understanding guards your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. May He who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus through the blood of the everlasting covenant make you perfect in every good work to do His will, and give you grace to walk uprightly before both God and men, owing no man anything but to love one another, and paying what you owe with a clear conscience.

We pray that you would seek Christ first, and know that peace will follow, for He is our peace and He will not withhold what is good from those who walk uprightly. May you go in peace, trusting not in a sudden escape from obligation, but in the faithful care of the God of peace who has promised never to leave nor forsake His people. Amen.
