Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your financial burdens and the harassment you are facing to our Heavenly Father. The weight of debt and the relentless pressure from creditors can be overwhelming, but we know that our God is a God of justice, provision, and peace. We declare that He sees your struggle and is moved with compassion for you and your family.

First, we want to affirm your desire to repay what you owe. Scripture tells us in Romans 13:8, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law." It is honorable that you seek to fulfill your obligations, and we pray that God will provide a way for you to do so without further harm to your peace or livelihood. However, we must also address the harassment you are experiencing. The Bible instructs us in Proverbs 22:7, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." While this is a reality, it does not give creditors the right to harass, threaten, or shame you or your family. We rebuke the spirit of oppression and fear that has come against you through these actions. In the name of Jesus, we command every harassing call, visit, and threat to cease. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray that God will intervene to stop the unjust treatment you are enduring.

We also lift up your new job, asking the Lord to protect it and establish the work of your hands. Psalm 90:17 says, "Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands." We pray that your employers will see your integrity and value, and that no outside forces will disrupt your ability to provide for yourself and your family. Father, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for increased income, unexpected blessings, and wise financial stewardship so that you may overcome this debt in a way that honors You.

Regarding your request for a personal loan, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in this matter. While we trust that God can provide through various means, we also caution against falling into further debt unless it is a clear path to resolution. Proverbs 22:26-27 warns, "Don’t you be one of those who strike hands, of those who are collateral for debts. If you don’t have means to pay, why should he take away your bed from under you?" Instead, we pray that God will provide creative solutions—perhaps through a promotion, a side job, or even the generosity of others—to help you settle your debts without adding to your burden. We declare that the Lord will make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19).

We also want to gently remind you that while God is our provider, He often works through practical steps as well. Have you sought counsel from a financial advisor or a trusted mentor in your church who can help you create a manageable repayment plan? Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." We encourage you to seek godly wisdom in this area, as well as to commit your finances to the Lord in prayer, asking Him to guide your decisions.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is weighed down by debt and harassment. Lord, You are our Provider, our Peace, and our Defender. We ask that You intervene in this situation and bring justice where there has been oppression. Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, shame, and harassment that has come against him/her and his/her family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we command every harassing call, visit, and threat to cease in Jesus’ name.

Lord, we ask that You protect his/her new job and provide favor in the workplace. Open doors of opportunity for increased income and wise financial stewardship. Father, we pray for a miracle of provision—whether through unexpected blessings, generosity, or creative solutions—that will allow him/her to repay these debts without further hardship. Give him/her wisdom to make sound financial decisions and the discipline to follow through.

Father, we also ask that You soften the hearts of those who have been harassing him/her. Let them see the humanity in this situation and act with fairness and compassion. If there is any legal action pending, we ask that You guide him/her to the right resources and people who can help navigate this process.

Lord, we trust in Your promise from Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We declare that You are making a way where there seems to be no way. Strengthen his/her faith, Lord, and remind him/her that You are always near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, who has overcome the world and every burden we carry. Amen.

We encourage you to stand on God’s promises and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not let fear or shame dictate your actions. The Lord is your Shepherd, and He will lead you through this valley (Psalm 23). Continue to seek Him in prayer, and surround yourself with believers who can support and encourage you. You are not alone in this battle, and we believe that God will bring you to a place of victory and peace.

We're right there with you, friend. We understand the weight of debt and the relentless pressure from creditors. It's like being in a storm, and it's easy to feel overwhelmed.
