Blessings to overcome Financial debt

Roshan Dsouza

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your forgiveness of all my sins and blessings. I am burdened with a debt and I am being harassed by calls and visits from the banks, which has brought shame to my family. Lord, I ask for your divine intervention and a miracle, so that debt collections agencies close my accounts completely and I will no longer need to make payments, as I have already paid them more than I borrowed. I am also receiving threats from the banks, warning of legal actions and that they will contact my friends and family to harass them. Additionally, I owe money with interest. My desire is to repay everyone. If these people continue to harass me or my contacts, it could jeopardize my new job and leave me unemployed again. Lord I ask for your intervention to stop harassment and repeated calls from every debt collection agency and individual to whom I have to repay to me, my family and friends, as their presence disrupts our peace. Jesus, please help that no one visit my home to whom I have to pay else that will create a huge problem. Please hear my prayer and grant me peace and resolution. Lord, I ask for your miracle and intervention by granting me a personal loan and I get the same without any hassle as it will help me to pay off all my debts. I ask this in Jesus name. Praise the Lord. Amen.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. The weight of debt and the harassment from creditors is a heavy cross to bear, and we understand the fear and shame it brings—not just upon you, but upon your family as well. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:17-19, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are not alone in this struggle, and we believe the Lord hears your plea for deliverance.

First, we must address the matter of repayment with honesty and integrity. Scripture is clear in Romans 13:8, *"Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."* While you desire to repay what you owe, we must also rebuke the ungodly tactics of harassment and threats from creditors. The Lord does not condone oppression, and we pray that He would restrain those who seek to intimidate you unlawfully. Proverbs 22:22-23 warns, *"Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* We stand in agreement with you that the harassment must cease, and we declare peace over your home and family.

However, we must also caution against seeking a "miracle" that would absolve you of your debts without repayment if it contradicts the principles of justice and stewardship. The Lord is a God of order, and while He is able to provide supernaturally, we must also walk in wisdom and responsibility. Proverbs 6:1-5 instructs, *"My son, if you have become collateral for your neighbor, if you have struck your hands in pledge for a stranger; you are trapped by the words of your mouth. You are ensnared with the words of your mouth. Do this now, my son, and deliver yourself, since you have come into the hand of your neighbor. Go, humble yourself. Press your plea with your neighbor. Give no sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to your eyelids. Free yourself, like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, like a bird from the snare of the fowler."* This passage encourages proactive steps to resolve debt rather than passively waiting for a miracle.

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel in managing your finances. Proverbs 15:22 says, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* Consider reaching out to a trusted financial advisor or a biblical stewardship ministry that can help you create a plan to repay your debts in a way that honors God. The Lord can provide wisdom and open doors for you to fulfill your obligations without further harassment.

Let us now come before the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is burdened by debt and harassment. Lord, You see his heart and his desire to honor You in all things. We ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring peace where there is turmoil. Father, we rebuke the spirit of oppression and harassment that seeks to torment him and his family. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned, in Jesus' name (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity for him to secure the means to repay his debts honorably. Provide him with wisdom to manage his finances and favor in the eyes of those who can assist him. Father, we pray for his new job, that it would be a source of stability and provision. Protect his employment and grant him the grace to excel in his work so that he may fulfill his obligations without fear.

We also pray for those who are harassing him. Soften their hearts, Lord, and let them see the error of their ways. May they act with integrity and compassion, as You have called us all to do. Father, we ask that You would grant him a personal loan if it is Your will, but we also pray for the wisdom to steward it well. Let this not be a temporary fix, but a step toward true financial freedom.

Above all, Lord, we ask that You would draw near to him in this time of need. Remind him that You are his Provider and his Peace. Let him cast all his anxieties on You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen his faith and fill him with hope, knowing that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and Your love. We trust in Your provision and Your justice. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend. The weight of debt and the constant harassment can feel overwhelming, but remember, you're not alone. God sees you, and He cares. Let's keep our focus on Him and trust that He's working things out for your good.

We understand your desire to repay everyone, and that's commendable. But we also need to address the harassment and threats you're facing. It's not okay for anyone to intimidate or threaten you, and we ask that God would intervene and bring peace to your situation. We claim His promise in Psalm 34:17-19, that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

While we trust God for a miracle, let's also be wise and responsible. It's important to manage your finances well and seek godly counsel. Consider reaching out to a trusted financial advisor or a biblical stewardship ministry. They can help you create a plan to repay your debts in a way that honors God.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our friend who is burdened by debt and harassment. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring peace where there is turmoil. We rebuke the spirit of oppression and harassment that seeks to torment him, and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned, in Jesus' name (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity for him to secure the means to repay his debts honorably. Provide him with wisdom to manage his finances and favor in the eyes of those who can assist him. Protect his new job, and grant him the grace to excel in his work so that he may fulfill his obligations without fear.

We also pray for those who are harassing him. Soften their hearts, Lord, and let them see the error of their ways. May they act with integrity and compassion, as You have called us all to do.

Above all, Lord, we ask that You would draw near to him in this time of need. Remind him that You are his Provider and his Peace. Strengthen his faith and fill him with hope, knowing that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
