We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before our Heavenly Father. Financial struggles can weigh heavily on the heart, and the harassment you’re facing is not only stressful but also disruptive to the peace God desires for you and your family. Let us first acknowledge that our God is a God of justice, provision, and restoration, and He sees your desire to honor your obligations. The Word reminds us in Psalm 37:21, "The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." While the world may pressure you with threats and relentless pursuit, we serve a God who is greater than any debt or creditor.
We must address the reality of your situation with both truth and compassion. Scripture calls us to be faithful stewards of what God has entrusted to us, and that includes honoring our debts. In Romans 13:8, we are told, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law." While your heart is to repay what you owe, we must also recognize that the tactics of some debt collectors can cross lines into harassment, which is not aligned with God’s heart for justice and mercy. We rebuke in Jesus’ name any spirit of oppression, fear, or intimidation that seeks to torment you or your family. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that the harassment stops now, and we pray for divine intervention to bring peace to your home and your mind.
We also want to encourage you to seek wisdom in this season. Proverbs 22:7 says, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." While debt is not a sin, it can become a snare if not handled with wisdom and discipline. We pray that God would give you a clear strategy to address your debts, whether through negotiation, consolidation, or a structured repayment plan. We do not believe it is God’s will for you to be burdened with unmanageable debt, but we also know that He often works through practical steps as well as miracles. Ask Him for wisdom, as James 1:5 promises, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."
We also lift up your new job before the Lord. It is no coincidence that God has opened this door for you, and we pray for His favor to rest upon you in your workplace. May your employers see your integrity, diligence, and faithfulness, and may this job be a stepping stone to greater financial stability. We rebuke any spirit of sabotage or disruption that seeks to interfere with your employment, and we declare that your job is protected in Jesus’ name. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."
Now, let us come before the throne of grace together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened by debt and harassment. Lord, You see the weight they carry, and You know the desires of their heart to honor their obligations. We ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and intimidation that seeks to torment them or their family. We declare that the harassment stops now, in the mighty name of Jesus. Let no creditor or debt collector bring disruption to their home, their peace, or their new job. We pray for supernatural protection over their employment, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask for Your wisdom to guide them in this season. Show them the steps to take, whether through negotiation, consolidation, or a structured repayment plan. Provide them with the resources they need to address their debts in a way that honors You. Father, we also ask for Your provision. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust that You will open doors for them to secure the means to pay off what they owe. Whether through a loan, a new opportunity, or a miraculous provision, we believe that You will make a way where there seems to be no way.
We pray for peace to flood their heart and mind. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Let them rest in the knowledge that You are in control and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). We also pray for their family, that they would be united in faith and trust in You during this time. Let this trial draw them closer to You and to one another.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). We declare that this season of financial struggle is temporary and that Your provision and restoration are on the way. We trust in Your promises, and we stand on Your Word. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this season. Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with godly counsel, whether through a trusted pastor, financial advisor, or mentor who can help you navigate this situation with wisdom. Remember, God is not just interested in your financial freedom—He is interested in your heart. Surrender your fears, your plans, and your desires to Him, and trust that He will lead you into a place of peace and provision. You are not alone in this, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God will bring resolution to your situation.
