We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your financial burdens before the throne of grace. The weight of debt and the harassment from creditors is not something you were meant to carry alone—our Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You have acknowledged Jesus in your prayer, and it is only through His name that we have access to the Father, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We rejoice that you have come to Him, for He is faithful to hear and answer those who seek Him with a repentant heart.
First, we must address the matter of debt with honesty and integrity. Scripture is clear that the wicked borrow and do not repay (Psalm 37:21), but the righteous show mercy and give (Psalm 37:21). While your desire to repay what you owe is commendable, we must also rebuke the spirit of fear and oppression that seeks to torment you. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The harassment you are experiencing is not of God, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand against these tactics in the name of Jesus and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also lift up the matter of your new job, for the Lord is your provider and sustainer. He knows your needs before you even ask Him (Matthew 6:8), and He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We pray that your employment remains secure and that no schemes of the enemy would disrupt your peace or livelihood. Let us hold fast to the truth that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Now, concerning your request for a miracle and a personal loan, we must align our hearts with God’s will. While we believe in His power to provide, we must also trust in His timing and methods. The Lord may choose to open doors for you in ways you have not considered, or He may lead you to seek wise counsel in managing your debt. Proverbs 22:7 warns that the borrower is slave to the lender, and we encourage you to seek godly wisdom in breaking free from this cycle. We pray that the Lord would give you favor with those who can assist you, whether through financial advice, debt consolidation, or even supernatural provision. But we also rebuke any spirit of entitlement or presumption, for we must walk in humility and trust God’s perfect plan for your life.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened by debt and harassment. Lord, You see the weight upon their heart, and You know the fear that grips them. We ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and oppression that seeks to torment them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask that You would stop the harassment from creditors and debt collectors. Let Your angels encamp around them and their family, protecting them from any further disturbance (Psalm 34:7). Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment in managing this debt. Give them favor with those who can help, and open doors for provision in ways they have not imagined. If it is Your will, provide a way for them to repay what they owe without further hardship. But above all, Lord, we ask that You would be their provider and sustainer, for You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who sees and provides (Genesis 22:14).
Father, we also pray for their new job. Let no schemes of the enemy disrupt their employment or peace. Strengthen them in their work and grant them favor with their employers. Help them to walk in integrity and diligence, knowing that their labor is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Lord, we trust in Your promises, and we declare that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Finally, Father, we ask that You would draw them closer to You through this trial. Let this season be one of growth and dependence on You. Teach them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust in Your perfect plan for their life. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek godly counsel in managing your debt, whether through a financial advisor, a trusted pastor, or a debt relief program that aligns with biblical principles. Remember, the Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
