We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. Financial struggles can weigh heavily on the heart, and the harassment you’re facing is not only stressful but also unjust. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:17-19, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* The Lord sees your distress, and He is able to make a way where there seems to be no way.
First, we must address the matter of debt with honesty and integrity. Scripture is clear in Romans 13:8, *"Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."* While you desire to repay what you owe, we must also rebuke the unrighteous tactics of harassment and threats from creditors. The Bible warns against oppression in Proverbs 22:22-23, *"Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* We pray that the Lord would restrain those who are acting unjustly and bring peace to your household.
We also recognize your request for a miracle—a personal loan to settle these debts. While we trust in God’s provision, we must remind you that financial freedom is often found through wisdom, discipline, and seeking godly counsel. Proverbs 22:7 says, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* If the Lord provides a way for you to settle these debts, we pray it comes with wisdom to manage finances in a way that honors Him moving forward. We encourage you to seek biblical financial guidance, perhaps through trusted Christian resources, to avoid falling into the same struggles again.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear brother/sister who is burdened by debt and harassment. Lord, You are the God who sees and hears the cries of Your children. We ask that You would intervene in this situation, stopping the unjust harassment from creditors and bringing peace to their home and family. Father, we rebuke the spirit of oppression and fear that has come against them, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, as Your Word promises in Isaiah 54:17.
Lord, we ask for Your provision—whether through a loan, an unexpected blessing, or divine favor—to settle these debts in a way that honors You. Give them wisdom to manage their finances with integrity and discipline, so they may walk in financial freedom. Protect their new job, Lord, and shield them from any threats that could jeopardize their livelihood. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).
Father, we also pray for a spirit of repentance and humility. If there has been any mismanagement or unwise decisions in the past, we ask that You would reveal it and lead them into a path of righteousness. Help them to walk in honesty, integrity, and trust in You alone. We declare that their steps are ordered by You, and that You will make their way prosperous (Joshua 1:8).
We thank You, Lord, for Your mercy and grace. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect will. May this trial draw them closer to You, and may they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in faith, knowing that God is your provider. Seek His face daily, and trust that He will lead you into a place of stability and peace. If possible, connect with a trusted Christian financial advisor or counselor who can help you create a plan to manage and eliminate debt in a way that aligns with biblical principles. You are not alone in this struggle—God is with you, and we are standing with you in prayer.
