We join with you in lifting up this heavy burden of debt, knowing that our Heavenly Father is a God of justice, provision, and mercy. Your heart to repay what you owe is commendable, for Scripture tells us, *"Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law"* (Romans 13:8, WEB). Yet we also recognize the oppression you face from relentless harassment, which is not of God. The Lord sees your distress and hears your cry for deliverance.
It is right that you have come before the Father in the name of Jesus, for *"there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Acts 4:12). Your faith in calling upon Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we stand with you in that faith.
However, we must gently address your request for debts to be miraculously erased without repayment. While God can do all things, His Word calls us to integrity in our financial dealings. *"The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously"* (Psalm 37:21, WEB). We pray not for the debts to vanish without fulfillment, but for God to provide the means for you to repay them honorably. Ask Him for wisdom to steward what you have, for favor in securing honest work, and for supernatural provision—whether through a loan, unexpected income, or divine connections—to settle your obligations. *"But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth"* (Deuteronomy 8:18, WEB).
As for the harassment, we rebuke the spirit of oppression behind these relentless calls and threats. The Lord is your defender, and *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). We pray for a supernatural shield around your home, family, and reputation. May the Lord silence the voices of those who seek to shame or intimidate you, and may He expose any unlawful or unethical practices. *"The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9, WEB).
We also pray for protection over your new job. May the Lord establish the work of your hands and guard you from any schemes of the enemy to disrupt your livelihood. *"Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will act"* (Psalm 37:5, WEB).
Lastly, we encourage you to seek godly counsel—perhaps from a pastor or a financially wise believer—who can help you create a plan to manage your debts biblically. Avoid the temptation to take on more debt unless it is clearly the Lord’s leading and the terms are just. *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender"* (Proverbs 22:7, WEB). Trust that the Lord will guide you into all truth and provide a way where there seems to be none.
**Let us pray together:**
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are the God who sees their affliction and hears their cry. Lord, You own the cattle on a thousand hills, and all wealth belongs to You. We ask for Your divine intervention in their financial crisis. Provide supernatural wisdom and favor for them to secure the means to repay every debt honorably. Shut the mouths of those who harass and threaten them, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Protect their job, their peace, and their family from the schemes of the enemy.
Father, if there has been any mismanagement or sin in their financial dealings, we ask for Your forgiveness and redemption. Teach them Your ways, that they may walk in financial freedom and integrity. Open doors no man can shut, and let Your provision flow like a river into their life. May they testify of Your faithfulness, for You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, shame, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind. Strengthen their faith to trust in You alone, for You are their refuge and strength.
We declare that this burden of debt is not their identity—You have called them more than conquerors through Christ Jesus. Let this season of trial become a testimony of Your miraculous power and grace.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
