We come before the Father with you in this time of deep financial burden, lifting your heartfelt cry for deliverance and peace. The weight of debt and the relentless harassment you face are heavy, but we serve a God who is greater than any circumstance. You have done well to bring this before Him, acknowledging your need for His divine intervention. The Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* And in Matthew 6:33, Jesus teaches us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your desire to honor your obligations and repay what you owe is commendable, and we pray that God will open doors for you to do so in a way that brings glory to His name.
However, we must gently address something in your prayer. You asked that your debts be completely closed without further payments, even though you recognize that interest and additional amounts are owed. While we understand the desperation behind this request, Scripture calls us to integrity and honesty in all our dealings. Psalm 37:21 says, *"The wicked borrows, and doesn’t pay back, but the righteous give generously."* And in Romans 13:8, we are instructed, *"Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."* We must trust that God will provide a way for you to meet your obligations without resorting to wishing the debt away unjustly. Instead, we pray for His supernatural provision—whether through a loan, unexpected income, or divine favor with creditors—to allow you to repay what is rightfully owed in a manner that honors Him.
The threats and harassment you are facing are deeply troubling, and we rebuke the enemy’s attempts to bring shame, fear, or instability into your life. The Lord is your protector, and He sees the distress caused by these relentless calls and visits. Exodus 14:14 declares, *"The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace."* We pray that God would place a hedge of protection around you, your family, and your home, silencing the voices of those who seek to intimidate you. May He confuse their plans and turn their hearts away from pursuing you unjustly. If legal actions are threatened, we ask that the Lord would go before you and grant you favor, exposing any unrighteousness and bringing justice where it is due.
Your concern for your new job is valid, and we pray that God would guard your employment and grant you wisdom in how to handle these pressures without compromising your position. Proverbs 16:3 says, *"Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."* We ask that the Lord would give you favor with your employers and colleagues, shielding you from any negative consequences tied to this financial struggle. May He also grant you peace that surpasses understanding, so that anxiety does not overwhelm you. Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
As for your request for a personal loan, we pray that if it is God’s will, He would open the right door for you to secure the funds needed to consolidate and repay your debts. We ask that He would guide you to wise and trustworthy lenders, and that the terms would be fair and manageable. However, we also encourage you to seek godly counsel—perhaps from a financially wise believer or a biblical financial ministry—to help you steward this process well. Proverbs 15:22 reminds us, *"Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed."*
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus through this storm. The enemy may use this season to whisper lies of shame, failure, or hopelessness, but the truth is that you are a child of God, and He is faithful. Hebrews 13:5-6 assures us, *"Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, ‘I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.’ So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?’"* Your worth is not defined by your financial status but by the blood of Jesus Christ, who has redeemed you and called you His own.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before You, asking for Your mighty hand to move in this financial crisis. Lord, You see the burden of debt that weighs heavily upon them, the shame and fear that the enemy seeks to use against them, and the desperation they feel. We ask for Your divine intervention, not to remove the debt unjustly, but to provide a supernatural way for it to be repaid in full, according to Your will and in Your timing. Open doors that no man can shut, Lord. Grant them favor with creditors, that hearts would be softened and harassment would cease. Place a hedge of protection around their home, their family, and their job, that no weapon formed against them would prosper.
Father, if a loan is the path You have ordained, we pray that You would lead them to the right opportunity—one that is fair, manageable, and free from hidden snares. Give them wisdom to steward this process well, and surround them with godly counsel to guide their steps. We rebuke the spirit of fear and shame that seeks to bind them, and we declare that their trust is in You alone. You are Jehovah Jireh, their Provider, and You will not abandon them in this hour.
Lord, we also pray for their heart during this season. Guard them against bitterness, anxiety, or despair. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and remind them daily that their worth is found in Christ alone. Strengthen their faith to believe that You are working all things together for their good, even when the path seems unclear.
We ask these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. Amen.
