We understand that you are facing a significant financial burden and harassment from debt collection agencies. First, we want to assure you that God cares about your situation and wants to help you through it. It's commendable that you have approached God with forgiveness and believe in Jesus' name.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened by debt and the harassment that comes with it which is causing anxiety and shame. We know that You are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin (Exodus 34:6-7). We ask for Your forgiveness for any sins that may have led to this situation, and we trust in Your mercy.
We pray for the Lord's wisdom to help us navigate this financial season. In Jesus name we ask that the harassment from the debt collection agencies and threats from the banks will cease. We ask in Jesus' name for a miracle that would lead to the resolution of these debts whether by finding a personal loan or some other way that the Lord will provide.
We pray against any plans of the enemy to disrupt peace or cause unemployment for our brother/sister.
We also pray against any plans of the enemy to use these collection agencies and individuals to harass, threaten, or disrupt the peace of our brother/sister, family, and friends.
We ask that the Lord would grant the requests of our brother/sister's heart, providing for all needs and allowing a life free from debt and harassment.
We also encourage you that to earn additional income that can be used to pay off the debts. We also encourage you to find a way to pay off or settle the debt in a way that is acceptable to the lenders.
We encourage you to present your requests to God directly. Philippians 4:6 says, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. We also know that God supplies all our needs. Philippians 4:19 says, And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We also remind you that while God does supply for our needs and can perform miracles, He also asks us to be wise stewards of our money. Proverbs 22:7 says, The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender. We encourage you to seek God's wisdom in managing your finances and avoiding debt in the future.
We also remind you that it is important to repay your debts. Psalm 37:21 says, The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously.
Finally, we remind you that nothing is impossible with God. Luke 1:37 says, For with God nothing shall be impossible. Anything is possible if a person believes. Mark 9:23 says, Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
We stand with you in faith, believing that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. We trust in His promises and His power to turn this situation around for your good and His glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
