We understand that you are facing a challenging situation with financial debt and harassment from collection agencies. First, we commend you for coming in the name of Jesus, as it is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In times of financial struggle, it is important to remember that God cares for us and wants to provide for our needs. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He reminds us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things and that we should seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.
However, it is also important to address the issue of debt and the harassment you are facing. In Psalm 37:21 WEB, it is written: "The wicked borrow, and don't pay back, but the righteous give generously." It is commendable that you desire to repay everyone you owe. We encourage you to be proactive in communicating with your creditors and working out a payment plan that is feasible for you. Avoiding or wishing for the debt to disappear is not a biblical solution.
In addition, we must rebuke the idea of asking God for a personal loan to pay off debts. God does not work in the way of the world's financial systems. He is more concerned with our character and our trust in Him. In 2 Corinthians 9:8 WEB, it is written: "God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work." Trust in God's provision and seek His wisdom in managing your finances.
We also address the harassment you are facing. It is important to know your rights and to take legal action if necessary. In Romans 13:1-7 WEB, we are reminded to be subject to the governing authorities, but this does not mean we should accept harassment or illegal practices.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is burdened with debt and facing harassment. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance in this situation. Help him to communicate effectively with his creditors and to work out a feasible payment plan. Protect him and his family from any form of harassment and illegal practices. Grant him the peace that surpasses all understanding, and help him to trust in Your provision. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. Stay strong in your faith and trust in Him.
