Blessings and protection

Beloved of All
Father please be with me throughout this pregnancy and bless me with a healthy baby. Father please no complications due to fibroids and diabetes. Please Father help me and have mercy on us in Jesus' name I pray Amen

We lift up this precious time of pregnancy before the Lord with hearts full of faith and hope. The journey of carrying new life is a sacred trust, a gift from God Himself, and we join in praying for His divine protection, healing, and blessing over both mother and child. We are reminded of Psalm 139:13-14, which says, “For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Every life is woven by God’s own hands, and we stand in agreement that this child is known and loved by Him even now.

We pray specifically against the complications mentioned, fibroids and diabetes, and ask for the Lord’s healing touch. We declare that the power of Jesus’ name breaks every chain of sickness and fear. In James 5:14-15, we are told, “Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.” Though we are not physically present to anoint with oil, we anoint this situation with our prayers of faith, trusting that God hears and answers according to His perfect will.

We also want to gently encourage and remind that every child is a heritage from the Lord, as Psalm 127:3 tells us: “Behold, children are a heritage of the Lord. The fruit of the womb is his reward.” This truth brings comfort and purpose, especially in times of medical concern. We pray that the Lord would strengthen faith, calm anxiety, and fill each day with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. We ask that You surround this mother and her unborn child with Your angels of protection. Guard her body, stabilize her blood sugar, shrink and soften any fibroids that may threaten health, and bring forth this baby in perfect timing and full health. We rebuke fear, doubt, and every spirit of complication in Jesus’ name. We declare Your promises of life, health, and hope over this pregnancy.

Lord, grant wisdom to the doctors and nurses attending to her. Let them see with clarity and act with skill, guided by Your hand. Fill the mother’s heart with trust in You, knowing that You are her Provider, Healer, and Sustainer. May she feel Your presence in every moment, especially when the journey feels long or uncertain.

We also pray for the father, family, and all who love and support this mother. Strengthen them in faith and unity. May they speak life, encouragement, and truth over this pregnancy, standing together in prayer and hope.

And Lord, if there has not yet been a personal surrender to Jesus Christ, we pray that this season would draw hearts to You. That through this journey of new life, spiritual life would also be born or renewed. For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, only Jesus, Your Son, who died and rose again so that all who believe in Him might have eternal life (Acts 4:12, John 3:16).

We commit this pregnancy, this mother, and this child into Your loving hands. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ powerful name we pray, Amen.

We are honored to lift you and your precious baby up in prayer today. Carrying a child is such a beautiful, sacred season, and it’s completely understandable that the presence of fibroids and diabetes would stir worry in your heart. You are not alone in this. It’s clear how much you love this little one, and we want to come alongside you with steady encouragement and practical support.

While we join our faith with yours for a healthy, complication-free pregnancy, we also want to gently encourage you to stay closely connected with your medical team. Their wisdom and monitoring are gifts God can use to watch over both of you. Don’t hesitate to share every concern with them, they’re there to help you navigate each step. And if you haven’t already, consider reaching out to a trusted friend or a small group at church who can pray with you in person and check in on you. Sometimes the gift of a listening ear and a shared burden makes the load feel lighter.

Above all, keep bringing every fear and hope to the Father, just as you’ve done. He holds you and your baby in His hands, and His mercy is more than enough for each day.

Let’s pray together now.

Father, thank You for this life growing within this dear mother. Please cover her pregnancy with Your presence, and bring this baby safely and healthily into the world. We ask that You guard them both from complications related to fibroids and diabetes, and give her doctors clarity and skill. Surround her with Your peace that passes understanding, and let her feel Your nearness in every moment. We place all of this into Your loving, capable hands, trusting in Your mercy. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

The doctrine of Divine Sovereignty is most comforting to the children of God in such an hour. There is no attribute more sweet to a soul cast upon the merciful keeping of the Lord. To trace the Divine hand in every gracious interposition, to know that the babe hidden in the secret place is seen by Him who seeth in secret, this is the strong tower into which faith runs and is safe. Render calamity impossible, and what mark would there be of the Divine displeasure or of His tender regard? But see here the Lord's way. He allows the floods of trial to rise, yet He sends deliverance from them. How strikingly has God preserved some of us, not by miracles that dazzle, but by wonders of providence that feed faith. You may hope that the Divine Spirit will still display His power over the most unlikely hindrances, over fibroids and diabetes, to the glory of His grace. He can make the dry tree flourish and command health to spring forth where nature promises only withering. Plead with Him to do so.

The presence of God dissolves difficulties. What impassable mountains melt like wax before His face? Blessed be God, the church only needs the Divine presence in the midst of her, and all the systems of error and all the hosts of bodily affliction will flow down at His feet like glaciers which dissolve in the summer's sun. And see how the Divine Instructor trains His own. He compares Himself to the eagle stirring the nest, training the young for flight. There is trouble in the unsettling, but if we could read the whole in the light of eternity, we would bless the hand which tears away our earthly comforts, seeing Divine wisdom and infinite affection in it all. Even now, the gentleness of God is making you great. David would not have been the man after God's own heart if Divine gentleness had not restrained the blow or laid him low that he might learn to trust. Some of us never can forget the rapture all Divine when He showed us His hands and His feet and said, "I have suffered all this for you." That same gentle hand is upon you now, shaping this trial into a vessel of mercy.

He who travels on the King's highway is under the King's protection. The way of obedience to Divine precepts is the path of safety. You will always need Divine and angelic keeping, for God would not have charged His angels to keep His people in all their ways if they did not need protection in all their ways. This protection is perpetual as well as personal. The Lord alone leads His own; He will not share the tutelage with fibroids or with the dread of diabetes. His own right hand and His holy arm get the victory, and He loves to display the perfection of His power where human strength is utterly withered. The low tree, fostered by the Husbandman, shall mount even to the stars. Divine love can rake a dunghill and find a diamond; there is no spot where God's grace cannot and will not go.

We may expect the same results from the Divine Presence if we are privileged to enjoy it. He sends His word and heals; He sends His peace and stills the tempest. Conscious of Divine authority, we look sin and evil and the terror of complications in the face and say, "Thus says the Lord, let my people go." He will let you go free from the slavery of fear, free from the chains of that which menaces the life of your babe and your own frame. Salvation is of the Lord alone. Then give all the glory to His holy name, to whom all glory belongs. The dry tree by Divine grace shall flourish; the green tree, deserted by the dew of heaven, shall dry up. Cast yourself wholly upon Him who makes the barren womb to sing and brings forth fruit from the dead. Mercy is with Him; He will have compassion according to the multitude of His tender mercies.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for blessings and protection in your pregnancy, and you rightly flee to the Father of mercies, who alone can give health and life. But consider: do you seek bodily health with the same fervor with which you ought to seek the health of your soul? Many pray for a safe delivery and a strong infant, yet neglect to prepare a pure heart for the coming child. The woman with the flow of blood did not merely cry out for healing; she approached Christ with trembling faith and a changed life, and so she received wholeness. Let your faith be like hers, not presuming on God’s kindness while clinging to any sin, but touching the hem of His garment through sincere repentance.

You fear complications from fibroids and diabetes, and this is natural, for the burden of pregnancy is great. Yet remember that bodily sickness often serves the soul, humbling our pride and teaching us to rely not on ourselves but on God. I have seen the poor and the maimed sitting in the church porch, and they are placed there as a mirror for the healthy, lest any boast in their strength. Today you are anxious for the flesh; tomorrow, if God grants delivery, you will be anxious for the child’s future. But the flesh is grass, and all its glory like the flower of the field. Make provision for the body only so far as health requires, and spend your chief labor on the inner man. Pray for a healthy baby, yes, but pray more earnestly that the child be born anew in baptism and grow in holiness, fearing God rather than sickness.

And do not think that this season of need excuses a careless life. Some imagine that a few days of prayer during trouble are enough, when they have neglected the altar for weeks or months. But the deacon cries, “The holy things for the holy,” and that voice searches the conscience. If you desire God’s mercy on your body, first seek to approach the spiritual fountain worthily, with sins confessed and enmities put away. For what profit is there in a healthy infant if the mother’s soul is diseased? The body may be delivered from one peril, yet the soul remain in peril of eternal death. Therefore, let your prayer be constant, your repentance daily, and your eyes fixed not on the changing circumstances of this life but on the kingdom that does not pass away. Commend yourself and the unborn child to the Lord, but say also from the heart, “Not my will, but Yours be done,” being ready to receive either health or sickness as His good gift. Then, whether you are delivered from these fears or called to bear a trial, you will stand among the holy ones, who trusted not in the flesh but in the God of all comfort.

Your heart cries out for a healthy baby and a pregnancy free from the complications of fibroids and diabetes. That is a natural and right prayer, and you are wise to cast every fear on the Lord. He knows the deep longing of a mother for the child in her womb.

There is a beautiful and sobering lesson in remembering another long-ago pregnancy, when a young woman in the final heavy weeks had to make an arduous journey of many miles over rough terrain, simply because a distant ruler decreed it. From the human side, it looked like a calamity: miserable, exhausting, and utterly ill-timed. There was no appeal, no special accommodation for her condition. Yet from heaven’s perspective, that grueling trip was the very means God used to position her exactly where ancient prophecy said the child would be born. What felt like a harsh, arbitrary edict was actually the thumb of God on the scales of history. He who formed your little one is not less sovereign over your body, over fibroids, over blood sugar, over every medical report. The circumstances that feel so threatening to you right now are not outside His control. He knows how to preserve life and bring His good purposes to pass even through rough roads.

At the same time, I think of other faithful people in Scripture. Moses remained vigorous to the end, while others, equally loved by God, grew feeble. Good health into old age is never a simple barometer of God’s favor. So while we pray with all boldness for a healthy outcome and a safe delivery, we also reach for the deeper grace to say, “Lord, even if the path includes suffering, help me to trust Your goodness.” I pray that you will experience the Lord’s merciful protection, and that no serious complication will arise. But I pray even more that you will know His presence so richly that your soul stays anchored in peace, whatever comes.

Consider what happened when Mary visited Elizabeth. At the sound of Mary’s greeting, the unborn baby leaped for joy, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. She cried out, “Blessed is the fruit of your womb!” That was more than a kind wish, it was a Spirit-inspired declaration over a pregnancy that, from the outside, could have been shrouded in scandal and difficulty. Your baby is already fully known by the Lord, woven together in secret, and He can surround that little life with His blessing even now. The same Spirit who overshadowed Mary and filled Elizabeth hovers near every trembling mother who calls on Jesus’ name.

So bring your request boldly. Ask the Father to guard you from every complication, to hold your blood sugar steady, to keep the fibroids from causing harm, and to grant you a healthy, full-term delivery. He is not reluctant to show mercy. Yet alongside your request, rest in this truth: “With God nothing shall be impossible.” The power that knit the galaxies together is building this child inside you, and He will carry you both through these months. May the peace of Christ settle over your mind as you entrust yourself to His faithful hands.
