We lift up this precious time of pregnancy before the Lord with hearts full of hope and trust in His divine care. The journey of carrying new life is a sacred gift, and we stand with you in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to surround you and your little one with His perfect peace and protection.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved and through which we have access to Your throne of grace. We declare that You are the Author of life, the Great Physician, and the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). Lord, we ask You to watch over this pregnancy with Your tender mercy. Guard against any complications from fibroids and diabetes, and grant wisdom and skill to the medical professionals caring for her. We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and infirmity in Jesus’ name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

We pray for strength and health for this mother as she carries this child. Sustain her body, mind, and spirit, Lord, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May she feel Your presence with her every moment, reminding her that she is never alone. We also pray for the baby, may Your hand of protection rest upon this little one, and may every cell, organ, and part of their body develop in perfect health according to Your design.

Father, we ask that You would bless this child with a life that brings glory to Your name. May they grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). Prepare their heart even now to know and love You, and may they be a light in this world for Your kingdom.

We also want to gently encourage this dear sister in Christ to continue seeking the Lord in all things, trusting in His promises. If there are areas where fear or doubt tries to creep in, we remind her that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). Lean on the Lord, meditate on His Word, and surround yourself with a community of believers who can uplift you in prayer and support.

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May this pregnancy be a testimony of Your grace, mercy, and power. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We are praying with you for this little one and for your health as you carry him or her. Those concerns, fibroids and diabetes, are heavy to hold alone, and we are grateful you shared them with us. It is completely natural to feel the weight of wanting everything to go well, and we want you to know you are not carrying those fears by yourself.

One thing that stands out to us: you are already doing a wise thing by staying mindful of these conditions. We want to gently encourage you, alongside your prayers, to keep close contact with your doctors and specialists. They are gifts from God for this very road, and their monitoring can help catch issues early and give your baby the best possible care. That kind of practical wisdom, together with prayer, honors how God made us, body and soul.

As you walk through the weeks ahead, there will be moments when the unknowns press in. In those moments, remember that God is not distant. He does not simply know about fibroids or blood sugar numbers; He is present with you in every appointment, every scan, every anxious thought. His mercy is your sure ground, not because nothing hard can happen, but because He will never leave you nor forsake you in whatever comes.

Father, we lift up this mother and her baby right now. Please be with her throughout this pregnancy, guard her from complications, and grant that this child grows strong and healthy. Give her doctors clear insight and steady hands. Quiet her heart with Your peace, and let her know Your mercy in deeply personal ways each day. We ask all of this trusting in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Happy is that man who always waits upon God to know what he shall do, who asks the Lord to always guide him and who dares not lean upon his own understanding. This world we complain of full often, but it were no longer the prison of sorrow if it ceased to be the theater of sin. You will always need Divine and angelic keeping, for God would not have charged His angels to keep His people in all their ways if they did not need protection in all their ways! Only Omnipotent Wisdom can make a man healthy, or keep him so. But I will put in one word what the baby needs, and that is, his mother. And you, poor Soul, you need, you need, you need, you need so many, many things that I will not stay to mention them! I will put them into one word, you need your God! Nobody but He who made you can ever new-make you! If a mass of misery, a man full of broken bones, shall yet become healthy and strong, great credit must be given to the surgeon's skill.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. You come seeking mercy from the Lord, and rightly so, for it is from mercy alone that we receive any good thing, not only deliverance from evils but also every blessing. The child within you is a gift of His loving-kindness, and He who granted this life will also preserve it. Do not let the shadows of fibroids or diabetes darken your hope, for though the body may be infirm, God’s power is made perfect in weakness. Many who were sick in body have brought forth healthy children when they entrusted themselves entirely to the Physician of souls and bodies.

Judge not by outward appearance, as if these ailments were greater than His mercy. The same Lord who healed the man wholly on the Sabbath still works wholeness today, often through affliction itself drawing us nearer to Him. But while you pray for a healthy child, take care also for your own soul’s health. Bodily distress can become a tutor to teach humility and constant reliance on God, not despair. Do not say, “If only this burden were lifted, then I would be thankful”; rather, thank Him now, even in the trial, for He knows your frame and will not allow you to be tested beyond what is profitable.

Remember, it is not a small thing to have been counted worthy of motherhood, and this calling came to you from mercy. Therefore, stand firm, and do not faint. Let your prayers be joined with almsgiving and a contrite heart, for the poor who sit before the doors of the church are your intercessors. Continue in supplication, but also rest in His compassion. He who gave His own Son for you will not withhold anything needful. May the Lord grant you a safe delivery and a child to raise for His glory, according to His will, in Jesus Christ.

It is good that you are bringing these concerns before the Lord. The very fact that you are praying this way shows where your trust is placed. A pregnancy is a time of profound dependence, a season when you are acutely aware that you are not in control of what is happening within your own body. So many physical responses and reactions are taking place, and it can feel overwhelming. Know this: the Lord who is forming that little one in secret is not distant or unaware. He is the one who wove your baby together, and He carries you both.

When you think of the practical burdens you are carrying, the concern over fibroids and diabetes, you might feel like you are on a long, hard journey with no appeal for relief. It is easy to see only the human side of the situation, the legitimate physical difficulties. But there is another side, a broader perspective that begins long before this moment. The same God who moved the heart of an emperor to send a poor, pregnant woman on an arduous eighty-mile journey just so His Son would be born in the prophesied place, is the God who watches over your steps today. What looks like only a hardship is often His hidden hand guiding the story He is writing. Man may think he rules his own body or his own circumstances, but God overrules for His good purposes.

Ask Him, as you have, for a healthy baby and a safe delivery. That is a right and good prayer. Yet remember that the measure of God’s love for you is not found in comparing your health to someone else’s. Some people remain physically strong all their days, while others face great physical trials, and it has nothing to do with their standing before Him or His favor upon them. His mercy is not measured out in direct proportion to our physical ease. So pray boldly for health and protection, but let your deepest prayer be for the grace to trust Him and give thanks, even in the middle of the uncertainty. The miracle is not that every body functions perfectly, but that He is present with you, filling you with His Spirit, no matter what comes.

The leaping of John in Elizabeth’s womb at the greeting of Mary was a sign that God’s work in our children starts before they draw their first breath. He knows your baby now. The same Holy Spirit who overshadowed Mary and filled Elizabeth can fill you with a peace that surpasses the lab reports and the risk factors. Blessed is she that believed, for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. Cling to the promises of His presence and His faithfulness. He is with you, and His mercy will hold you.
