We join with you in lifting up this precious time of pregnancy before the Lord, seeking His divine protection, healing, and blessing over you and your unborn child. The journey of carrying new life is sacred, and we know the Lord knits each child together in the womb with purpose and love. "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." (Psalm 139:13-14)

Your concerns about fibroids and diabetes are understandable, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God is greater than any medical challenge. He is the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for Him. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." (Hebrews 13:8) We pray that He would guide your doctors, steady your body, and bring complete healing to any areas of concern. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus during this time.

We also want to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer, trusting in His promises. "Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7) This season may bring moments of anxiety, but God invites you to bring every concern to Him. Lean on Him for strength, wisdom, and comfort.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this dear sister and her unborn child. Lord, You see every detail of this pregnancy, and You hold their lives in Your hands. We ask for Your divine protection over both mother and baby. Guard them from any complications, heal any areas affected by fibroids or diabetes, and bring forth a healthy, strong child in Your perfect timing.

Father, we declare Your promises over this pregnancy, that You are the God who opens wombs, who heals, and who sustains life. We rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt, and we speak life, health, and peace over this family. Strengthen this mother’s body, mind, and spirit, and fill her with Your joy and hope as she awaits the arrival of her little one.

Lord, we also ask that You would draw her closer to You during this time. May she experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with her every step of the journey. Surround her with godly support, wise medical care, and a community that will uplift her in prayer.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for this family. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Continue to rest in the Lord’s care, dear sister. He is your refuge and strength, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. May His peace fill your heart as you wait on Him.

O what a mercy that you have fled to the mercy seat at such a time as this! The petition you breathe in Jesus’ name is precisely what the Infant in your womb most needs, and what you, trembling mother, most require, His presence, His protection. The babe’s great necessity is the mother; the mother’s one great need is her God. No one but He who made you can keep you, and no one but He can fashion that little life in health and wholeness. Cast the entire weight of your anxiety upon Him, the fibroids, the diabetes, all that looms before the natural eye. It is in the way of childlike trust in providential guidance that you travel the King’s Highway, and there alone is safety guaranteed. He who travels there is under the King’s protection.

You speak of a healthy babe, and that is well; but know that only Omnipotent Wisdom can make and keep the child sound, only He can maintain your own frame in soundness. The blessed health you seek, both for you and the little one, is His secret, given along the appointed pathways of prayer and reliance. If a mass of misery, a man full of broken bones, shall yet become healthy and strong, great credit must be given to the surgeon’s skill. Trust the great Physician with every fiber of your frame, and with every forming member of that hidden life. His protection is perpetual as well as personal; He would not have charged His angels to keep you in all your ways if you did not need keeping in all your ways. Even now, simply because you look to Him, mercy is on the wing.

Do not judge your situation by appearances. The fibroids and diabetes you see are not the whole story. The Lord who made the whole man healthy on the Sabbath, restoring a man utterly undone, has power to bring full health where there is only partial. Consider the woman with the flow of blood. She did not doubt or say, “Shall I be delivered?” She saw the company Jesus kept, and she was of good hope. She thought, “If I may only touch His garment, I shall be whole.” Approach the Lord with the same confident faith. Many who are sick become healthy, and those weighed down by infirmity are lifted up. Do not let the burden of pregnancy press you into despair, for God’s mercy is great, He did not spare His own Son to secure your forgiveness. Will He not also care for your body and the child within you? Rise up, then, with a cheerful heart, and trust. Life abounds with such deliverances.

Hearing your prayer, I am reminded that pregnancy can bring a weight of anxiety, especially when conditions like fibroids and diabetes raise concerns. The physical toll can be exhausting, and the unknowns press in. Yet it is in these vulnerable moments that the Father draws especially near, even when the path feels hard.

Consider how Mary, in the final stretch of her own pregnancy, had to make a long and grueling journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem. That trek would have been miserable on foot or donkey, her body already strained. From a human perspective, it seemed nothing more than the whim of a far-off ruler forcing an untimely trip. But what looked like a senseless decree was actually God’s hidden hand, moving all things so that prophecy would be fulfilled. He was with Mary through every weary step, and He is with you now, even in the discomfort and fear.

We often cannot see His purposes in the moment. Man may think he rules, but God overrules all. He is orchestrating details you cannot yet perceive, and this little one is already known to Him deeply. Remember how Elizabeth, when she heard Mary’s greeting, felt the baby leap in her womb, and she was filled with the Holy Spirit. Even before birth, God can work mightily in a child’s life. He is forming this baby, and He hears your plea for protection.

You are asking for no complications and a healthy baby. That is a right and honest prayer. But take heart: the Father’s love for you is not measured by whether the pregnancy is easy or difficult. Some women carry with strength and ease, while others face constant struggle. One is not more favored than another. Moses remained robust until the day he died; others grow feeble with age. God’s grace does not depend on a trouble-free body. So we can boldly ask for health and mercy, while also resting in the truth that, whatever the outcome, His grace will be enough to sustain you.

He is the God for whom nothing is impossible. May He calm your heart, guard your body, and bring this child safely into your arms. He will not leave you or forsake you.
