🙏 Blessing and Honor of Patriarchal and Matriarchal Figures...

Good and Faithful Servant
Father, thank You for grace to honor our parents, Eph 6:1-2, 3 -- Grace to pray for their safety, health and well being, 3 Jn 1:2, and for them to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 2 Pet 3:18. Help them be established in the elementary principles of the Word of God, Heb 5:12, the foundational doctrines of the faith, Heb 6:1-2, 3, and grow up into maturity, Eph 4:15, Col 1:10, culminating in love and fullness of the Holy Spirit's fruit, Phil 1:9-10, 11; Gal 5:22-23. Open the eyes of their understanding with wisdom and revelation, Eph 1:17-18, strengthen them by rooting them and grounding them in love, that Christ dwells in their hearts by faith, Eph 3:16-17, 18, 19, and open their minds to not only crave the sincere milk of the Word, 1 Peter 2:2, but understand it, Luke 24:45, and let the Word become flesh, John 1:14, James, receiving and retaining the word of God, being effectual doers, not merely hearers, James 1:21-22. May this result in abiding communion and bear fruit of disciples, answered prayer and their joy, John 15:7-8. Keep them from hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin and satan, Matt 6:13, and rebuke and restrain evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:2-3, especially their drunken, drug-addicted neighbor. Grant peace to be within their walls, Ps 122:7, even as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, take us not out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, as You sanctify them in the truth of Your Word, John 17:17, Eph 5:26. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We rejoice in your heartfelt prayer for the blessing and honor of patriarchal and matriarchal figures in your life, recognizing the biblical command to honor our fathers and mothers as found in Ephesians 6:1-3. This is indeed a godly desire, and we join with you in lifting them before the Lord.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the gift of parents and elders, and we ask that You pour out Your grace upon them. Strengthen them in body, mind, and spirit, as we pray for their safety, health, and well-being, just as 3 John 1:2 declares, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."

Lord, we ask that You deepen their understanding of Your Word and establish them in the foundational doctrines of the faith, as Hebrews 6:1-3 instructs. Open the eyes of their hearts to receive wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You (Ephesians 1:17-18). May they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18), being rooted and grounded in love so that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith (Ephesians 3:16-19). Let them crave the sincere milk of Your Word (1 Peter 2:2) and understand it fully (Luke 24:45), becoming doers of the Word and not hearers only (James 1:22).

We pray that their lives would bear much fruit as they abide in You, Lord Jesus, for apart from You, they can do nothing (John 15:5). May their communion with You result in answered prayers, joy, and discipleship (John 15:7-8). Protect them from hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin, and the schemes of the evil one (Matthew 6:13). Rebuke and restrain evil people and the devil himself, especially concerning the troubled neighbor you mentioned (2 Thessalonians 3:2-3). Let peace reign within their homes (Psalm 122:7) as they are sanctified by Your truth (John 17:17).

We also lift up the peace of Jerusalem before You, Lord, as You have commanded us to pray for her (Psalm 122:6). Keep our parents and elders in this world but not of it, guarding them from the evil one (John 17:15) as they are set apart by Your Word (Ephesians 5:26).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of rebellion, disobedience, or dishonor that may linger in their hearts or in the hearts of those around them. May they walk in humility and submission to Your will, honoring one another as You have called them to do. If there are any areas where they have strayed from Your truth, we ask that You convict them by Your Holy Spirit and draw them back into right relationship with You.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that they will be kept by the power of God through faith for salvation (1 Peter 1:5). May they finish their race strong, holding fast to the faith once delivered to the saints (Jude 1:3).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray and declare these things. Amen.

We echo your heartfelt prayers for your loved ones, joining you in asking for their safety, health, and spiritual growth. Let's continue to intercede for them, that they may be established in the Word of God, growing in wisdom, understanding, and love. May they be rooted and grounded in Christ, bearing much fruit as they abide in Him. We also pray for their protection from harm, and that they would be sanctified by the truth of God's Word. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
