Blessing and Honor of Patriarchal and Matriarchal Figures... Father, thank You for grace to honor our parents, Eph 6:1-2, 3 -- Grace to pray for their safety, health and well being, 3 Jn 1:2, and for them to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 2 Pet 3:18. Help them be established in the elementary principles of the Word of God, Heb 5:12, the foundational doctrines of the faith, Heb 6:1-2, 3, and grow up into maturity, Eph 4:15, Col 1:10, culminating in love and fullness of the Holy Spirit's fruit, Phil 1:9-10, 11; Gal 5:22-23. Open the eyes of their understanding with wisdom and revelation, Eph 1:17-18, strengthen them by rooting them and grounding them in love, that Christ dwells in their hearts by faith, Eph 3:16-17, 18, 19, and open their minds to not only crave the sincere milk of the Word, 1 Peter 2:2, but understand it, Luke 24:45, and let the Word become flesh, John 1:14, James, receiving and retaining the word of God, being effectual doers, not merely hearers, James 1:21-22. May this result in abiding communion and bear fruit of disciples, answered prayer and their joy, John 15:7-8. Keep them from hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin and satan, Matt 6:13, and rebuke and restrain evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:2-3, especially their unruly neighbor they pray for and endeavor to love, Lk 6:27. Grant peace to be within their walls, Ps 122:7, even as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, take us not out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, as You sanctify them in the truth of Your Word, John 17:17, Eph 5:26. We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for the biblical commandment to honor our fathers and mothers, recognizing the vital role patriarchal and matriarchal figures play in our lives. The Scriptures are clear: *"Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise: 'that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.'" (Ephesians 6:2-3 WEB)*. This honor extends beyond mere words—it is a call to action, to prayer, and to intercession for their spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being.

Father, we lift up these parents and elders before You, asking that You would bless them with health, strength, and longevity. May they walk in divine protection, shielded from sickness, harm, and the schemes of the enemy. We pray that their days would be filled with peace, prosperity, and the joy of Your presence. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* (3 John 1:2 WEB). Lord, let their souls prosper as they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, just as Peter exhorts us: *"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen."* (2 Peter 3:18 WEB).

We ask that You would root them deeply in Your Word, establishing them in the foundational truths of the faith. May they not remain as infants, tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine, but instead mature in Christ, bearing the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB). Open the eyes of their understanding, Lord, that they may know the hope of Your calling and the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:17-18 WEB). Strengthen them by Your Spirit so that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith, and they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:16-19 WEB).

Father, we pray that their hearts would crave the sincere milk of Your Word, that they would not only hear it but also do it, becoming effectual doers and not merely hearers (James 1:22 WEB). May Your Word become flesh in their lives, transforming them from glory to glory. Let their communion with You bear fruit—disciples raised up, prayers answered, and joy overflowing. *"If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you. In this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be my disciples."* (John 15:7-8 WEB).

We stand against every force of darkness that seeks to bring hurt, harm, or division into their lives. We rebuke sickness, sin, and the works of the evil one in the name of Jesus. *"Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one."* (Matthew 6:13 WEB). Lord, restrain and rebuke evil people and the evil one, especially in situations where they face unruly neighbors or adversaries. Grant them the grace to love as You have commanded: *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* (Matthew 5:44 WEB).

We pray for peace to reign within their homes and families, just as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem. *"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'May those who love you prosper. Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.'" (Psalm 122:6-7 WEB)*. Father, do not take them out of the world, but keep them from the evil one (John 17:15 WEB). Sanctify them in Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17 WEB). Cleanse them by the washing of water with the Word, that they may be holy and blameless before You (Ephesians 5:26 WEB).

Lord, we thank You for the privilege of honoring our parents and elders. We ask that You would pour out Your blessings upon them, that they may see Your goodness and faithfulness all the days of their lives. May their lives be a testament to Your love, grace, and power, drawing others to You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can come before You or be saved. *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12 WEB). Amen.

* Grant them safety, health, and well-being in body, soul, and spirit (3 John 1:2).
* Fill them with wisdom, understanding, and revelation, opening their hearts and minds to receive and retain His Word (Ephesians 1:17-18, 2 Peter 3:18).
* Establish them in the foundational truths of the faith, helping them to grow in maturity and bear the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23, Hebrews 5:12-14).
* Strengthen them with His Spirit, enabling them to live a life pleasing to Him and to resist the temptations of the world (John 17:15-17).
* Protect them from harm, evil, and the schemes of the enemy, surrounding them with His peace (Psalm 122:6-7, Matthew 6:13).
* Grant them the grace to love as He loves, even in the face of adversity or unruly neighbors (Matthew 5:44).
* Sanctify them in His truth, keeping them from the evil one and making them holy and blameless before Him (John 17:17, Ephesians 5:26-27).

Father, we thank You for these patriarchal and matriarchal figures in our lives. We ask that You would bless them abundantly, pouring out Your love, grace, and favor upon them. May their lives be a testament to Your goodness and faithfulness, drawing others to You. We pray these things in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
