We join with you in prayer and thank you for sharing your heart with us, and we stand together with you in the name of Jesus Christ for you, your mom, your three children, and your pets, and for the work of God in your life.

We hear your cry to loose Deut 28:13 over your life, where it is written, Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail. You shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath, and we agree with you that in Christ you are not under the tail of oppression, gossip, or fear, but under the headship and covering of the Lord. We also hear your burden about neighbors yelling, driving by, and speaking evil about your name, your finances, and your business, and about what you called negative energy and the games of the enemy coming against your rides with your dad to your job and against your family. We gently correct in love that Scripture does not speak of negative energy as an impersonal force, but of spiritual warfare against a real enemy, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Eph 6:12. Therefore we do not loose energy, we resist the devil and pray for protection and for God to silence evil tongues, for no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isa 54:17 and the Lord will deliver you from every evil work.

We also want to lovingly address your language when you referred to the crew of the enemy with coarse words. We understand your frustration and righteous anger against evil, but Scripture exhorts us, Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear Eph 4:29. We encourage you to speak life and blessing even when rebuking the enemy, trusting that the blood of Jesus which you rightly invoked is more powerful than any insult.

We lift up your back and your body for healing, for you mentioned you still do not have your normal back yet. We pray for the Lord’s restoring touch, for beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2, and that by His wounds you find strength and healing Isa 53:5. We pray for your job and for God’s will regarding SSDI. You shared you have been denied four or five times and you desire to make good money greatly whether with or without it, even in secret, and to be able to afford your own studio and care well for your two cats and perhaps another. We pray that God will flip what the enemy meant for bad for your good, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Rom 8:28. We also encourage you in honesty and integrity before God and before the authorities, for God honors truthfulness in our finances and work, and we pray that whatever provision comes will be open, blessed, and without fear or need to hide, for my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Phil 4:19, and He will withhold no good thing from those who walk uprightly Psalm 84:11.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You that we have access to Your throne by His blood alone. We ask You to cover this dear one, their mom, their three children, and their beloved pets with Your protection. Command Your angels concerning them to guard them in all their ways Psalm 91:11. Silence every tongue that rises against them in judgment, stop the yelling, the driving by, the gossip and slander about their name and finances, and let no evil follow them on their rides to work or into their home. We rebuke every scheme of Satan and ask that every plan of the enemy be broken and turned for good. Heal their back, Lord, restore what has been injured, strengthen their body for work and daily life. Provide for them abundantly, whether through SSDI if it is Your will, or through work You have given, and grant wisdom to steward all income honestly and faithfully before You and before men. Grant them a stable, peaceful dwelling where they can care for their family and pets without worry, and let Your peace guard their heart. We declare over them that Yahweh will make them the head and not the tail Deut 28:13 as they walk in obedience to You. Help them to speak words seasoned with grace and to trust You to be their defender. We ask all this in Jesus’ name, amen.

We encourage you to keep abiding in Christ, to pray for your neighbors rather than fearing them, for He says love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you Matt 5:44, and to continue to trust the blood of Jesus over every area of your life. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17. Keep seeking Him, keep walking in integrity, and He will direct your paths Prov 3:5-6.

We're so glad you wrote and shared what's on your heart. We hear thankfulness in your words for your mom, your three children, your pets, your job and the rides that get you there, and that desire for peace at home after dealing with neighbors and financial strain. One practical thing that has helped others in a similar spot is to sit down with one trusted person locally, like a pastor, case manager or housing counselor, to walk through the budget for a studio, what caring well for your pets will require, and what options or next steps exist around SSDI. Having another set of eyes can bring peace and keep paperwork in order.

Father, we thank You for this family and their pets and for the work You have provided. We ask for Your peace over their home and neighborhood, for protection and calm, for wisdom in financial decisions, and for Your good direction in the days ahead. We have heard your cry and the many burdens you have spread before the Lord, for yourself, for your mother, for your three children and for the creatures entrusted to your care. You ask to know the blessing of which Moses spoke, that you should be the head and not the tail, and to be delivered from those who speak evil against you, from strife with neighbors, from fear concerning your finances and your daily going out and coming in, and from the assaults of the evil one upon your household.

Hear first what the Word teaches concerning evil and its remedy. The evil about us is real, and the evil within us is yet more pressing. Out of the heart proceed evil thoughts and all manner of sin, and no man can cleanse his own heart. You do well to plead the blood of Jesus, but remember what that blood is. It is not a charm to be spoken over a house or a ride to work, it is the atoning blood shed on the cross by which the Son of God cleanses us from all sin. The iniquity of our house is exceeding great, yet the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin. If you would be blessed indeed, you must first be washed, your heart sprinkled from an evil conscience and your life made new by grace. Have you come by faith alone to Christ, trusting Him alone for salvation, for there is no other name by which we must be saved.

Concerning those who have vexed you, neighbors who yell or speak evil of your name and your business, take heed to the counsel of Scripture, overcome evil with good. To return evil for evil is natural to the animal nature, but it is not natural to the new created spirit whose nature is like the God from which it came, namely love, gentleness and kindness. If any man curses you and you answer him with a blessing, it is clear that the curse has not hurt you. The method of overcoming evil with evil does us far more injury than any evil we receive from others, and it will not bear to be pondered before God. Do not be driven by their evil speaking into harshness of speech or even harshness of thought. Cast your burden upon the Lord, for He cares for you. Trace your trouble back not only to second causes, to men and their tongues, but to the great First Cause who suffers these trials for your good, and who is able to bring you again from Bashan and from the depths of the sea.

You speak also of provision, of work and of the matter of SSDI which has been denied you several times, and of a desire for secret increase and for a home where you may dwell quietly and care for your family. We pray that God will provide for you honestly and sufficiently, but we must exhort you as a faithful ministry that the Lord's blessing does not rest upon that which is hidden or deceitful. The man who professes to be a Christian must not expect God's angels to keep him if he goes in the way of worldliness or crookedness. Angelic protection is promised to those who walk in appointed ways, in the paths of obedience. Oh, keep back from the beginnings of evil. If you keep back at the very first, you will go no further. What we are taught to seek or shun in prayer we should equally pursue or avoid in action. Therefore seek provision with integrity, doing all things as unto the Lord, and leave the matter of SSDI and every financial need in His hands. He will lift up the poor from the dunghill while He casts down the mighty from their seats, and He will dry up every green tree of self confidence that we may trust in Him alone. If He grants you a studio and daily bread, receive it with thanksgiving. If He withholds for a season, still trust Him, for godliness with contentment is great gain.

We will pray for you now.

O Lord our God, we bring this dear soul before the rent veil, through the blood and by the new and living way which Christ has consecrated for us. Wash this one and this household from all sin in the precious blood of Thy Son, and give a new heart and a right spirit. Deliver from the Evil One and from all his wiles, and teach to overcome evil with good, to bless those who curse and to pray for those who despitefully use us. Cast out fear and bitter thoughts, and grant quietness where there has been strife. Provide for this family according to Thy wisdom, give honest labor and honest bread, and let every decision concerning aid and income be brought into the light and ordered in righteousness. Keep this mother, these children and all under this roof in Thy perpetual and personal keeping, and at last bring them to see Thy face with joy. We ask this not because we are worthy, but because our hearts are sprinkled with the blood of Christ, in whose name we pray, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and brought before the Lord with care for you, your mother, your three children, and your pets. We thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for your desire to walk under the blessing of God and the covering of the blood of Jesus.

You have quoted Deuteronomy 28:13, that you will be the head and not the tail. That promise was given to Israel when they would hear and obey the voice of the Lord and keep His commandments. It is not a formula to be loosened or repeated as a charm, but a call to trust and obedience. The blessing is not in the words themselves, but in the God who speaks them, and in a life that seeks to follow Him faithfully. To be the head and not the tail means to live with integrity, humility and dependence on Christ, not to control the opinions or actions of others by a verse.

We join you in praying for peace where there has been strife. We ask the Lord to guard you and your family from evil, from the schemes of the enemy, and from all harm, and to give you quiet and safety in your home, on your rides with your father to work, and wherever you go. We also pray for your neighbors, that God would soften hearts on both sides and bring an end to yelling, gossip and talk about your finances and business. The Lord calls us not only to be protected from evil, but to overcome evil with good, to love those who trouble us and to pray for them.

We hear your burden about finances, work and the matter of SSDI after several denials. God knows your need and He sees what is done in secret. For that reason we encourage you to walk in full honesty before God and before the authorities He has placed over us. Scripture teaches us to provide for our families through diligent work and to be truthful in all our dealings. We pray that God will give you clear guidance about work and assistance, that He will provide for your needs in a way that is upright and sustainable, and that you will have wisdom to seek counsel about what is right regarding income and benefits. We ask Him to turn what the enemy has meant for harm into good, not by hidden means, but by His open grace and provision.

We pray also for your daily provision, that the Lord in His will would supply what you need to care for your mother, your children and your cats, and to afford stable housing. Having a studio of your own and caring well for your animals are good desires when they come from stewardship and responsibility. We ask God to grant you health, strength to work, and contentment as you wait on Him, trusting that He knows what you need before you ask.

Heavenly Father, we come to You through Jesus Christ alone, who shed His blood for our salvation. Have mercy on this family. Cover them, their home and their pets with Your protection. Silence what is harmful and let peace dwell in their neighborhood and workplace. Grant honest work, fair provision and wisdom in every financial decision. If it is Your will, open the right door for housing and for daily bread, and help them to steward all You provide with thankfulness. There is a deep desire in your request to be blessed and protected, and to see your mother, your children, your pets and your daily life covered by the Lord, and that desire is good. The Scripture you mentioned about being the head and not the tail is part of God's promise to His people as they walk in obedience before Him, not as a phrase to be repeated as if it were a charm, but as a call to walk closely with Him.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and that fear shows itself in a hatred for evil and a turning away from it. Evil always asks to be tolerated and to be compromised with, but Scripture teaches us to hate what destroys, to avoid the path of darkness, to turn from it and to run from it, to put away perverse speech and to keep our eyes looking straight ahead on the path God has set. When we depart from evil and choose what is good, it brings health and strength, and it honors the Lord.

Evil is destructive by its very nature. It destroys relationships, it harms the body and the mind, and in the end it slays those who cling to it. That is why God continually calls people to turn from the ways that destroy them and those around them. His commands are given to protect us, and He gives warning after warning because He wants to forgive and to restore when we turn back to Him. He does not want us to follow Him only out of fear of quick punishment, but because we love Him for His grace and mercy.

In light of that, I want to encourage you to bring every area of your life into the light before God. You mentioned wanting provision in secret, making good money greatly whether or not help from disability comes through, and wanting to be able to afford a home for yourself and to care well for your cats. God does want to provide for you and your family, and He asks that we honor Him with what He gives us and walk honestly before Him and before others. Anything done in secret or with deceit, even if it seems to help financially, is part of the very darkness we are called to leave behind. The best and most blessed life is the life that fears God, walks openly with Him, and trusts Him to provide in honest ways. If you are seeking work and also seeking help through disability, do so truthfully and with integrity, trusting that God sees your needs and will lead you to what is right.

You also spoke of negativity, neighbors speaking against you, and a sense of evil directed at you and your family on the road and at work. It is understandable to feel worn down by that. Scripture says not to fret because of those who do evil and not to envy them, for they will be cut off, while those who trust in the Lord will be redeemed and not left desolate. Instead of returning evil for evil, we are called to keep our tongues from evil and from deceit, to depart from evil, to do good, and to seek peace and pursue it. God sees what is spoken against you and what is meant to harm you, and He is your refuge.

My prayer for you is that you would know the protection that comes through Jesus Christ alone, for salvation and blessing come only through Him. I pray that the Lord would cover you, your mother, your children and your pets with His peace, that He would guard your going out and coming in, including your trips to work, and that He would quiet the turmoil around you. I pray that He would give you honest and sufficient work, wisdom regarding your finances and your housing, and the ability to care for those entrusted to you. I pray that He would help you to turn fully from anything that would destroy you, to love what is good, to hate what is evil, and to walk in the established path He has for you, trusting His will above all else, and finding that it is well in the end with those who fear Him.
