We come before the Lord with hearts full of reverence on this blessed Good Friday, remembering the sacrifice of our Savior Jesus Christ on the cross. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all" (1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB). We lift up this request, asking that the Lord’s will be done in every detail, for His glory alone.
Father, we thank You for the calling to share testimonies that point others to You. The urgency in this request is felt deeply, for we know the times are growing short, and the harvest is plentiful. "We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work" (John 9:4 WEB). Lord, raise up godly scriptwriters who are filled with Your Spirit, skilled in crafting words that reflect Your truth, and humble in heart to surrender their talents to You. May their pens be guided by Your hand, and may every word written bring honor to Your name.
We rebuke any spirit of pride or self-promotion that may seek to creep into this work. Let it not be about man’s glory, but Yours alone. "Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips" (Proverbs 27:2 WEB). Father, we pray that those involved in this project would walk in purity, integrity, and obedience to Your Word. If there are any hidden motives or unconfessed sin in their lives, reveal it, Lord, so that they may repent and be cleansed by the blood of Jesus.
We also lift up the testimony itself, asking that it would be a powerful tool for Your kingdom. May it speak life into the hearts of those who read it, drawing them closer to You. "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord" (Colossians 3:16 WEB). Let this work be a light in the darkness, pointing to the hope found only in Jesus Christ.
Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over this project. Guard it from the enemy’s schemes, from distraction, from delay, and from anything that would seek to hinder Your purposes. "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain" (Psalm 127:1 WEB). May every step of this process be ordered by You, and may the finished work bring souls to salvation, encouragement to the weary, and glory to Your name.
We commit this request into Your hands, trusting that You will provide the right people, the right words, and the right timing. May all involved be sensitive to Your leading, quick to obey, and faithful to complete the work You have called them to. "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5 WEB).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
