Let us stand together in faith, lifting this process before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude and expectation.
First, we pray for the one being baptized—that their heart would be fully prepared to publicly identify with Christ. May they understand the gravity of this step, as Scripture declares, *"Or don’t you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life."* (Romans 6:3-4 WEB). Lord, let this act be a true reflection of a surrendered heart, fully committed to following You.
We also pray for the one performing the baptism—that they would do so with reverence, clarity, and the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
