Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with thanksgiving for the ways He has already helped the agreed details to be put into practice. It is good that you desire peace, for God has called us to peace, and that you desire the time with your child to be fruitful for his good and for the knowledge of God.

We pray with you that the Lord would make His own character known in that time, that He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, as He revealed to Moses, so that your son may learn to love God with all his heart and to love his neighbor, and to be brought up in the training and instruction of the Lord. The Scriptures are able to make him wise for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no other name, and we ask that the Holy Spirit would work through the Word to form that wisdom in him.

We also pray for protection over him, that the Lord who commands His angels concerning us and who delivers from the evil one would keep him from temptation, from deception, from fear and lies, and from every influence that would draw him away from what is true and right. May the Lord guard his heart and mind in Christ.

For your wife we pray not with a spirit of revenge but with love that seeks her good. Scripture teaches that longsuffering is abundant wisdom, and that the one who is patient is above the reach of injury, like adamant that is not wounded. When we are wronged we are called not to repay but to entrust ourselves to God and to continue in love, laughing at anger in the sense of not being provoked, but remaining steady and kind. We pray that God would so work in her heart that she would honor the agreed hours for video time and visitation, that she would respect boundaries so that necessary tasks can be done and that the child can have stability, and that she would act out of love for the child rather than out of love for money, which Scripture warns cannot satisfy.

We ask the Holy Spirit to convict where conviction is needed and to turn her heart toward the wisdom of the righteous, that her heart would be turned toward her child in the way God intends when He promises to turn the hearts of fathers to children and children to fathers. If she is hedged in, may it be only as God hedged Israel, not to destroy but to cause her to stop, to come to her senses as the prodigal did, to repent and return, so that nothing worse befalls her but that she finds mercy. We pray that the Lord would use whatever means He chooses, pastors, friends, family, other believers, even kindness itself, to seek her as a shepherd seeks the one lost sheep, to bring her from death and to cover a multitude of sins through fervent love.

We pray also that calls would be facilitated with grace and that you would be given patience and gentleness in them, doing good and not harm, and that your son would see in you a fatherly affection that reflects the Father's love for us, a love that gladly endures many things to remain with his beloved child and to lead him toward Christ.

May the Lord grant you endurance as you wait. He often allows the struggle to increase near the end so that the gain may be greater, as He did with Abraham, and He does not leave His own without comfort. Continue to commit your way to Him, to pray for your wife's repentance and for your son's growth in righteousness, trusting that God who created the heavens and the earth to be inhabited is able to order these practical matters for His glory and for your good.

Father, we thank You for Your mercy in Christ Jesus. Work in this family according to Your will. Let Your Word and Your love be evident in every visit and every call. Grant wisdom, protection, and peace, turn hearts to Yourself and to one another, keep the young one from evil and lead him to know You, and bring repentance and healing where it is needed. We ask this in the name of Jesus, who alone is our hope and salvation. Amen.
