whats the meaning of blasphemy against the HOLY GHOST

In my opinion it is when a person speaks against the holly spirit.

It seems that it is rejecting the Holy Spirit's work of leading one to Christ.

The only sin which can not be forgiven is not accepting Christ.

Since blasphemy of the Holy Spirit can not be forgiven either, it it must mean the same thing.

That is the context too because when Jesus said this,

it was because others saw what he did, and attributed it to Satan.

So they rejected him by rejecting the Holy Spirit witnessing of him being the Son of God.

That is the blasphemy I believe: Not accepting Christ

 

It is not respect........Devils. Tormenting Holy matters,on purpose.

My understanding is that blasphemy is the ultimate sin. The only sin that is not forgivable. The sin of rejecting the Holy Spirit or disallowing the Holy Spirit to work through you.

satan has several names. Each name of satan describe his characteristics. beelzebub is one of his names meaning lords of flies. Originally name, baalzebub came from the Philistine 2nd Kings 1:2-6. The Jews altered it, beelzebud meaning dunghill, or lord of manure. Now, these dirty flies bites, torment and irritate. Just like nasty, dirty flies, both the devil and his evil spirits are attracted to "dunghills, where it stinks and rotting, a perfect enviroments where satan and his evil spirit thrives best. So this is what the Pharisees was saying about Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Verse 25 And Jesus said "Any kingdom this is devided against itself is being brought to desolation and laid waste , and no city or house devided against itself will last or continue to stand. verse 26 And if satan drives out satan, he has become devided against himself and disunified; how then can will his kingdom stand.

verse 31 Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not and cannot be forgiven. verse 32 and whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Spirit, the Holy One, will not be forgiven, either in this world and age or in the world and age to come.

Accusing, lying, and baring false witness against the good works of the Holy Spirit. Accusing the Holy Spirit of doing the work of satan. Bareing false witness that the Holy Spirit is working through satan (beelzebub the lord of files, the lord of dunghill. Lets look dung: dung - the excrement of an animal manure, something vile or loathsome. And dunghill - a pile or hill of excrement. This is the level or category the Pharisees put Jesus and the Holy Spirit is placed in. God bless you
