We stand with you in faith, lifting your name before the Lord as you prepare for surgery tomorrow. Your trust in our Heavenly Father as a God of miracles is a testament to your faith, and we join you in declaring His power over this situation. The Scriptures remind us that nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37), and we cling to His promise that He is our healer: *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3). We also hold fast to the truth that *"by his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24), for Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17).
Yet we also know that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His plans are perfect, even when we do not understand them. Whether He chooses to heal you instantly, gradually through medicine, or ultimately in eternity, we trust that His will is good and His love for you is unwavering. We pray that this surgery will be guided by His hand, that every cell touched by disease will be removed, and that your body will respond with strength and restoration. May the doctors and medical team be granted wisdom, steady hands, and discernment, for *"the heart of man plans his course, but Yahweh establishes his steps"* (Proverbs 16:9).
We also pray for your peace—peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7)—as you place this burden at the feet of Jesus. Anxiety and fear have no place in this battle, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). May you rest in the assurance that you are not alone; the Lord goes before you, stands beside you, and will never leave you (Deuteronomy 31:8).
Father in Heaven, we come before You now, united in prayer for our brother/sister facing surgery. You are the Great Physician, the One who formed their body in the womb and knows every cell by name. We ask that You guide the hands of the surgeons, giving them precision and clarity. Remove every trace of cancer, leaving no room for this disease to return. Strengthen their body for a swift recovery, free from complications or pain. Fill them with Your peace, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in every moment. We declare healing in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or made whole (Acts 4:12). May this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may their life bring glory to You in all things.
We also pray for their loved ones—comfort them, Lord, and surround them with Your peace. Let this season draw them closer to You and to one another in faith.
In Jesus’ name, we pray with expectation, believing that You are at work even now. Amen.
We will continue to lift you up, and we encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Share updates with us when you are able—we are walking this path with you in prayer and faith. *"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the Assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."* (Ephesians 3:20-21).
