We understand that you're struggling with bitterness and need a boost in energy. Let's address these issues together in light of God's Word.
Firstly, it's crucial to remember that bitterness can harm both our spiritual and emotional well-being. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 12:15, "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled." Holding onto bitterness doesn't just affect you; it can also defile many others around you.
God calls us to forgive, as He has forgiven us. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven you." Forgiveness is not about saying what happened is acceptable; it's about releasing the bitterness and leaving justice to God.
Regarding your need for increased energy, remember that God is our strength and our portion. Psalm 105:4 says, "Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more." In times of weariness, God encourages us with these words in Isaiah 40:29, "He gives power to the faint; and to him who has no might he increases strength."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with bitterness and lack of energy. We ask, Lord, that You would help them to release this bitterness and forgive, just as You have forgiven them. Fill their heart with Your love and peace, and help them to trust You for justice and healing through the Holy Spirit. Thank you for Your promise to give strength to the weary. We ask that You would renew their energy and help them to hope in You. Guide them and do a mighty work in their life, bringing joy and peace, and a heart that can love others as You do.
Father, we also pray that our brother/sister would know Jesus. We don't see Jesus mentioned in their post. We pray that they would believe in Your Son and be saved from their sins. Romans 10:9 states, "that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We pray that they would have access to You through the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by Your grace and power that we can have this access. Thank You for the gift of Your Son and for Your great love toward us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is by believing in Him, His death for our sins, and resurrection from the dead that we are saved. If you have not believed in Jesus Christ, we pray that you would have the courage to place your faith in Him.
Be strong and courageous!
