First, let us address the foundation of our faith. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father, and it is in His name that we pray. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for He is the way, the truth, and the life.

Now, let us come together in prayer for your immediate need:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is facing a financial burden, specifically the need to pay their light bill. Father, You know the details of their situation, and You see their heart. We ask that You would provide for this need according to Your riches in glory. Open doors of opportunity, Lord, and grant wisdom to manage resources wisely. We rebuke any spirit of lack or fear in the name of Jesus, and we declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider.

Father, we also pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding. In all their ways, may they acknowledge You, and You will make their paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). We ask that You would surround them with Your love and the support of Your people during this time.

We encourage you to seek help from your local church community, as they may have resources or assistance programs available. Additionally, consider reaching out to utility companies, as many have programs to help those in need. Remember, God often uses His people to meet the needs of others, so do not hesitate to ask for help.

Lastly, let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Keep your focus on God and His kingdom, and trust that He will take care of your needs.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance on you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We stand with you in faith, believing that God will meet your need.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
