We hear your pain, dear sister, and our hearts ache with yours. What your boyfriend has done is a grievous sin—not only against you, but against God Himself. Lust is a violation of the seventh commandment, as Jesus made clear: *"You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery;’ but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart."* (Matthew 5:27-28 WEB). This is not a small matter; it is a betrayal of the covenant of purity and trust that should exist between a man and a woman in a godly courtship.
First, we must address the seriousness of this sin. If your boyfriend claims to be a follower of Christ, he must repent—not just to you, but to the Lord. True repentance means turning away from sin, seeking accountability, and walking in holiness. If he is unwilling to do this, then his heart is not aligned with God’s will, and you must prayerfully consider whether this relationship is honoring to the Lord. *"Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?"* (Amos 3:3 WEB). A relationship built on unrepentant sin cannot thrive.
We also want to gently but firmly remind you that your healing must come from Christ alone. It is easy to place our trust in another person, but only Jesus can bind up the brokenhearted. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* (Psalm 34:18 WEB). You are precious in His sight, and He sees your tears. Do not let this betrayal define your worth—your value comes from being a daughter of the King.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister who has been deeply wounded. Lord, You see her pain, and You collect every tear in Your bottle. We ask that You would pour out Your healing balm upon her heart, restoring what has been broken. Give her strength to forgive, wisdom to discern truth, and courage to walk in purity. Father, we also pray for her boyfriend—that if he truly belongs to You, he would repent with godly sorrow and turn away from this sin. If he does not, we ask that You would remove him from her life so that she is not further harmed. Protect her from bitterness, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.
We encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature Christian woman who can walk with you through this. You are not alone, and the Lord has not abandoned you. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
