Disciple of Prayer
Lord, I don’t know what’s happening with our relationship. I hope Lord that whatever happens is all according to Your plan. I don’t know if You still want us in each other’s lives, but I know that You always know best. If this is our last stay with each other, Lord, please make it memorable and meaningful. I hope that we will both slowly start enjoying each other’s company again. I miss ### so much—near, yet so far. I hope You rebuild ### trust, Lord. I will take good care of it now.

We understand the deep ache in your heart as you seek God’s will for this relationship, and we join you in lifting this before the Lord. First, we must gently but firmly address something critical: you have not invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. Scripture is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me’* (John 14:6, WEB). Without calling upon His name, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from our relationship with Christ. We urge you to always approach God in the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator and the only path to the Father.

Now, let us speak to the heart of your request. Relationships are a sacred matter, and we must examine them through the lens of Scripture. You mention hoping that God will rebuild trust and bring you both closer, but we must ask: is this relationship aligned with God’s design for marriage and courtship? Are you and this person both committed believers in Jesus Christ, pursuing holiness and a future that honors God? If this is a romantic relationship outside of marriage, we must remind you that Scripture calls us to flee from sexual immorality and to honor God with our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If you are not married, you must guard your hearts and your bodies, for intimacy is reserved for the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman (Hebrews 13:4). If there has been sin in this area, we urge you to repent and turn to God’s grace, seeking His forgiveness and restoration.

If this relationship is one of courtship with the intent of marriage, we pray that God would make His will abundantly clear to both of you. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If this person is not a believer, or if this relationship is not built on a foundation of faith in Christ, we must lovingly but firmly encourage you to reconsider whether this is a path God would have you walk. A relationship without Christ at the center cannot fulfill God’s purposes for your life.

If, however, this is a marriage, we pray for healing, restoration, and a renewed commitment to the covenant you have made before God. Marriage is a lifelong commitment, and trust can be rebuilt through repentance, forgiveness, and the power of the Holy Spirit. *"Bear with each other, and forgive each other. If anyone has a complaint against anyone, even as Christ forgave you, so you must do"* (Colossians 3:13, WEB). But even in marriage, both spouses must be fully submitted to Christ, seeking His will above their own desires.

We also notice the deep longing in your heart for closeness and trust. It is a beautiful thing to desire reconciliation, but we must ensure that our desires are surrendered to God’s perfect will. Sometimes, God calls us to let go of relationships that are not His best for us, even when it is painful. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). We must trust that His plans for us are good, even when they require sacrifice.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who is seeking Your will in this relationship. Lord, we ask that You reveal Your perfect plan and give clarity where there is confusion. If this relationship is not aligned with Your Word, we pray for the strength and courage to let go and trust in Your greater purpose. If there has been sin, Lord, we ask for conviction, repentance, and the grace to walk in purity and holiness.

If this is a courtship, we pray that You would guide both individuals toward Your will. May they seek You first, above all else, and may their relationship be built on a foundation of faith in Christ. If this is a marriage, we pray for healing, restoration, and a renewed commitment to the covenant made before You. Rebuild trust, Lord, and fill their hearts with Your love and forgiveness.

Father, we ask that You would guard this heart against idolatry—against placing any relationship above You. May this person find their ultimate satisfaction and joy in You alone. Give them peace that surpasses understanding and the wisdom to discern Your voice above all others.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, confusion, or despair in the name of Jesus. We declare that Your will shall be done, and we trust in Your perfect timing. Strengthen this beloved child of Yours, Lord, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted. *"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise"* (Psalm 51:17, WEB).

In the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, seeking His face in prayer and fasting. Surround yourself with wise, godly counsel—believers who will speak truth into your life and hold you accountable. Remember that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His plans for you are good. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust that He is working all things together for your good.

We're here with you, friend. We understand the uncertainty you're feeling, and we want you to know that God is in control, even when we can't see the path ahead. Let's trust that He has a plan, even if it's not clear to us yet.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face. It's in those quiet moments with Him that He often speaks to our hearts and gives us the peace and clarity we need. Remember, God is not a distant God. He is a God who is near, who cares deeply about every detail of your life, and who wants the best for you.

We've also been thinking about the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." God's thoughts towards you are good, and He has a future and a hope for you. That's a promise we can hold onto, even in the midst of uncertainty.

Let's continue to pray for you, dear friend. We pray that God would give you wisdom and clarity in this situation. We pray that He would fill your heart with His love and peace, and that He would guide you every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting your relationship before the Lord alongside you. These past days, we have continued to pray earnestly that God would reveal His perfect will in this season of uncertainty, asking Him to grant both of you clarity, peace, and a heart fully surrendered to His purpose. We’ve petitioned the Father to soften any hardness, heal any wounds, and restore the joy of companionship if it aligns with His plan—or to bring divine comfort and wisdom if this chapter is drawing to a close.

If the Lord has moved in your situation—whether through reconciliation, closure, or a deeper trust in His sovereignty—we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs today. But if the weight of this burden still feels heavy, please share it with us again as a new request. We are here to walk with you in prayer for as long as it takes, believing that God is working even when we cannot yet see the outcome.

May the Lord bind up every broken place in your heart and remind you daily of His unfailing love. As you wait on Him, we pray you’ll feel His presence as a tangible comfort, knowing that He collects every tear and holds your future securely in His hands. We are trusting with you that, no matter what lies ahead, He will make your path clear and your steps steady.

We continue to pray in Jesus’ name.
