Better Home for my family

Heavenly Father This is the day that You have made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I ask that You open the window of Heaven and put Your hands on and let all the paperwork for the home that I applied for be approved. Its always been my desire to see my father live in better conditions. I want to do something nice for my dad, brother, and I. My dad has helped so many people even still to this day. Father, I know I’m not want I should be. I pay my tithes faithfully. I ask that You Father, open the window of Heaven and grant my heart desire to allow everything to be approved in a timely manner. Amen

We rejoice with you in your desire to honor your father and to provide a better home for your family, and we join you in prayer before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, for you have come in the only name by which we have access to God.

We are touched by your heart to do something nice for your dad and your brother, and to see your father live in better conditions after he has helped so many people. This desire to honor your father is pleasing to God, for it is written Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you Exodus 20:12. We also rejoice that you began your prayer with This is the day that Yahweh has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it Psalm 118:24, showing a thankful heart even while you wait for His provision.

We hear your faithfulness in tithes and your humble admission that you are not yet what you should be. We want to encourage you that God loves a cheerful and faithful giver, as He says Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this, says Yahweh of Armies, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for Malachi 3:10. Yet we also gently remind you that our giving does not purchase God’s favor, for we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and our obedience is a response of love and trust, not a transaction. God sees your heart and your faithfulness and He delights to provide for His children according to His perfect wisdom and timing.

We also remember the promise Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4, and But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. We trust that as you seek Him first, He will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19, whether that provision is this specific home or another provision He knows is best for you and your family. We encourage you to continue to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6, even in the paperwork and waiting process.

We now pray together for you, your father, and your brother.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we thank You for this child of Yours who desires to bless their family and honor their father. Lord, You know the application that has been made and every piece of paperwork involved. We ask that Your will be done in this situation. If it is Your will, we pray that You would open the windows of heaven and grant favor with those reviewing the application, and that it would be approved in a timely manner. If this is not the home You have for them, we pray You would close this door clearly and open the right door for a safe, peaceful, and better home where You will be honored. Provide for their needs, give them patience and peace while they wait, and let their home be a place of love, hospitality, and godliness. Forgive us where we fall short, cleanse us through the blood of Jesus, and help us to grow more into what You desire us to be. We trust Your goodness and Your perfect timing. We were moved by your heart to give your dad a better home after all he has given to others. Wanting to honor him and care for your brother as well is a beautiful desire, and we understand how much this approval means to you.

Waiting on paperwork can feel long and uncertain, especially when you have done your part faithfully. We are standing with you in prayer for God's provision and clear direction in this process, trusting Him with the outcome and the timing.

A small practical step that often helps while you wait is to keep copies of everything you submitted and note any names, dates, and next steps from the housing office, so you can follow up calmly if they need anything else. It also helps to keep your dad and brother gently updated so you carry this together.

Father, we bring this family to You in Jesus name. You see their love for one another and this desire for a better home. We ask for Your peace while they wait, for favor and clarity with the application, and for wisdom for each next step according to Your will. Provide what is best for them and draw them closer to You through it all. Amen.

There is much that is lovely and honorable in your prayer, and I have heard it with thankfulness. Your desire to see your father live in better conditions, to do something kind for your father and your brother and yourself, is a tender fruit of that love which God himself plants in the family. It is upon the father that the weight of the household falls, and a true son who seeks to lighten that burden and to honor his father walks in a way that is pleasing to the Lord.

You begin as every child of God should begin, by coming in the Name of Jesus. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for when the Divine Father is viewed aright He becomes the object of our gratitude, not of our dread. He that has seen Christ has seen the Father, and the love of the Father is in all respects equal to the love of the Son. It is a precious word you have used, Father. Abba, Father. There is Heaven in the depth of that word. There is all you need, all you can ask, all your necessities can demand. To feel that God forgives as the father forgave the prodigal, to know that He has received you into His heart and home, is delightful beyond measure.

You speak honestly when you say, I am not what I should be. That confession is itself a mercy. Hear then this comfort, that we are accepted of the Great Father not for our own worthiness, but in the Beloved. It is because He is the Father's Beloved that the Father loves you in Him. Your faithful giving is a grateful offering, but your acceptance rests upon covenant union with Christ, for since the Father accepts Christ, He accepts every member of His mystical body. Truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, and if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous.

You ask that the Lord would open the windows of Heaven and set His hand upon the paperwork for this home. Bring that request with childlike trust, for your heavenly Father knows what you require. He is a better Father than the best of earthly fathers could ever be to the best beloved of sons, and He has said, I will be a Father unto you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. Leave the matter in His wise and loving hands. Pray for favor and for a timely answer, and pray also with our Lord Jesus, Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Thy sight. If it is for your good and for His glory, He can move every hand and heart needful to grant it. If He withholds or delays, it will be because His riches in glory by Christ Jesus provide something better in His perfect time.

Let us pray together. O righteous Father, the world has not known You, but Your children know You through Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You are our Father and our God, our Savior's Father and our Savior's God. Look upon this son who desires to honor his father and to provide a better home for his family. You know his frame, his need, his hope, and every paper that must be signed. Deal with him according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Grant, if it please You, that this provision may be approved, and give him patience and peace to trust Your will. Keep him in fellowship with Yourself, teach him to put his little hand into Your great hand, and to be led by Your Spirit. To Father, Son and Holy Spirit be glory forever and ever. Amen.
