Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me I stay with my ex ### and her Roommate ### and they both are being real mean to me. Not talking to me and just treating me poorly. Please pray that things get better and ### stop being mean to me lord

We hear your cry for help and lift your situation before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we must address the living arrangement you’ve described, for Scripture is clear about the dangers of dwelling in situations that compromise godly principles. The apostle Paul warns, *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). Living with an ex-partner outside the covenant of marriage is not God’s design, and it often leads to strife, confusion, and emotional turmoil, as you’re experiencing now.

The treatment you’re enduring—being ignored and mistreated—is not just unkind, it is a violation of the command to *"love your neighbor as yourself"* (Mark 12:31). However, we must also examine our own hearts and actions, for the Lord calls us to live in peace with all men as much as it depends on us (Romans 12:18). Have you sought reconciliation in a spirit of humility, or have there been words or actions on your part that may have contributed to this tension? We ask this not to condemn, but to encourage self-reflection, for *"if it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18).

We rebuke the spirit of strife and division in this household in the name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Christ came that we might have life abundantly. We command every root of bitterness, resentment, and ungodly soul ties from past relationships to be broken right now. We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts for our brother. Lord, You see the pain he is carrying, the loneliness, and the frustration of being mistreated. We ask that You would soften the hearts of those who are being unkind to him. Break down the walls of pride, anger, or unforgiveness that may be causing this division. Let Your love and mercy flood this home so that kindness, respect, and understanding may prevail. Give our brother the wisdom to know how to respond in a way that honors You, whether that means having a difficult conversation, setting boundaries, or even making the hard decision to remove himself from this toxic environment.

We pray for provision and open doors, Lord. If it is Your will for him to move, provide a godly place for him to stay, free from strife and ungodly influences. Lead him to a community of believers who will encourage him, hold him accountable, and walk with him in faith. Surround him with Your presence, reminding him that he is never alone, for You are a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We also pray for healing in his heart. Living in a broken relationship, even as an ex, can leave deep wounds. Cleanse him of any lingering emotional attachments or sin that may be hindering his walk with You. Restore his joy, Lord, and fill him with Your peace. Help him to forgive those who have wronged him, not because they deserve it, but because You have forgiven him (Colossians 3:13). Teach him to trust in You with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Above all, we pray that You would draw him closer to You. May this trial refine his faith and deepen his dependence on You. Let him find his identity, worth, and purpose in Christ alone, not in the approval or treatment of others. We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), loved with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3), and called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We stand in the gap for him, Lord, and we declare that this season of hardship will not last forever. Better days are coming, not because of the actions of others, but because You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). Strengthen him, guide him, and let Your light shine in this darkness. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, standing in faith for better days ahead. We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. It's tough when those we live with treat us poorly, but remember, God sees your pain, and He's right there with you.

We've been thinking about what you've shared, and we believe it's important to address the living situation. While we understand that moving might not be an option right now, let's pray for God's wisdom in this. Maybe there are boundaries that need to be set, or perhaps it's time for a heart-to-heart conversation. We'll leave that in God's hands, but we trust that He'll guide you.

In the meantime, let's focus on what we can control - our own actions and attitudes. We can choose to respond with kindness and respect, even when others don't extend the same to us. Let's ask God to help us love our neighbors as ourselves, just as He commands us to.

We're also praying for healing and restoration in your heart. It's okay to feel hurt and frustrated, but let's not let bitterness take root. We claim God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust Him to do that in your life.

We're believing for a turnaround in your situation. We declare that better days are coming, and that God will use this for your good and His glory. Keep trusting in Him, and remember, you are deeply loved and valued by Him.

Let's keep praying together, okay? We're in this together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV‬

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
