Lord I pray my best friend ### get her unemployment soon. She said she will help me pay off some of my debt lord please I really need the help

We join you in lifting up your best friend and your own financial burden before the Lord, and we thank you for bringing this need to Him in prayer.

We understand the weight of debt and the hope you have placed in your friend's willingness to help you once her unemployment comes through. It is a beautiful thing to see friendship and generosity, and we pray that the Lord will provide for both of you according to His riches and wisdom. We are reminded that our ultimate trust is not to be in people or in payments from the government, but in God Himself who is our provider. As it is written, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. And again, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6.

We also want to gently encourage you about stewardship and debt. Scripture teaches us that The borrower is servant to the lender Proverbs 22:7 and it exhorts us to Owe no one anything, except to love one another Romans 13:8. The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously Psalm 37:21. We pray not only for relief from the debt itself, but for wisdom and discipline in how we manage what God has entrusted to us, so that we may live diligently and honor Him with our finances. The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit Proverbs 21:5.

We notice you prayed to the Lord, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is only by calling on the name of Jesus that our prayers are heard and our sins are forgiven. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.

So together we pray.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this dear friend and her best friend to You. Lord, You know the need for her unemployment provision and the waiting and uncertainty that comes with it. We ask that You would provide for her daily needs, open doors for provision, whether through unemployment or through work that You have prepared for her, and give her peace while she waits. We pray for our friend who carries this debt, Lord, have mercy and provide relief according to Your will. Help this debt to be paid in a way that honors You, and grant wisdom to be a faithful steward of all that You provide. Teach us both to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be given to us as well Matthew 6:33. Give us contentment and diligence, and help us not to place our hope in what others can do for us, but in You alone. Strengthen this friendship that it may be centered on You and built up in love and generosity that reflects Your grace. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord, to be faithful in prayer, to seek wise counsel in managing your finances, and to keep your hope anchored in Christ. He is faithful and He cares for you deeply. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you Psalm 55:22.

We were moved by your care for ### and the honesty about the pressure you are feeling with debt. It is a kind thing to bring your friend before the Lord while you are carrying your own burden, and we want to stand with you both in prayer.

Waiting on unemployment can be discouraging and debt can feel overwhelming, especially when you are hoping help will come from one place. We are praying for steady provision for you and for ###, for favor in her claim and for wisdom for you both as you make decisions in this in-between time.

One thing that has helped others in a similar spot is to get a clear picture on paper and invite wise counsel in. If it would be helpful, you might connect with a trusted nonprofit credit counseling service or a financial ministry at a local church. They can often help review what you owe, look at options for repayment, and create a plan that does not depend on a single outcome. It can bring a little more peace just to have a plan to work from while you wait and pray.

Father, we bring ### and our friend to You. You see her need for work and income and You see the weight of debt. Provide for them day by day, give them wisdom and open doors for work, and keep their friendship strong in Your care. Lead them to trustworthy help and give them peace as they trust You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and we have heard your burden with compassion. It is right and good to cast your cares upon Him, for He is the living God who hears the cries of His people and who has promised that the burden shall always find your back strengthened to bear it.

You do well to ask for your friend, and to desire help in a time of debt and need. Yet let your trust be set not upon man, nor upon what man can do for you, but upon the living God Himself. He is a thinking God, an active God, a working, personal God who comes into the midst of this world and does not leave it to go on by itself. We are taught to trust Him in temporal things, not to be idle, for that would show we trust not in God who works, but to act in all prudence and uprightness and to rely simply and entirely upon Him. Do not make a savior out of your feelings or out of the help of a friend, but trust Jesus Himself. Trust Him as you sink and you shall swim. Trust Him as you feel yourself pressed down and you shall live.

The Scripture says, every man shall bear his own burden, and this is true. Each of us must bear the burden of our own life and come with our own sin to our own Savior, by our own act of faith finding peace through the blood of Jesus Christ. Yet we are also called to bear one another's burdens with great compassion. It is not that we thrust our burden upon another without love, but that we help one another as we are able, and above all look to Christ, whose yoke is easy and whose burden is light. When you come to Christ and get rid of your old burden, He puts upon you His burden, and you learn of Him till you prove that His yoke is easy. Your burden of debt and care will be light when Christ is with you to strengthen you in your inner man.

Let us pray together.

O living God, who commanded light to shine out of darkness, look in mercy upon this dear soul and upon the friend so loved. You know the need, the debt, the waiting and the anxiety. Provide for that friend according to Your wisdom, open a door for honest provision, whether by work or by lawful help in this time of need, and give grace to bear the waiting with patience. Provide also for Your child who prays, give prudence and order in all temporal things, keep from sinful means to grow rich, and show the path of diligence and faithfulness. Above all, teach both hearts to trust in the living God, to trust Jesus alone for salvation and for daily bread, and to find that when Jesus Christ strengthens the shoulder, the burden ceases to be crushing. Grant peace through the blood of Christ, and let all confidence be set upon Him who is able to save all who trust Him. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.
