We understand that you are seeking benefits for a child you have custody of, and we want to lift this situation up in prayer with you. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our needs and the needs of our families. As it says in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?
Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
We pray that you will trust in God's provision and that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, as we are reminded in Philippians 4:19 WEB.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this parent who is seeking benefits for their child. You know the details of their situation, and You care about their needs. We pray that You will guide them through the process of applying for assistance, and that You will move the hearts of those in positions of authority to grant the help that is needed. We ask that You provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and that You will give them peace in knowing that You are their ultimate provider. We also pray that this situation will be an opportunity for them to share the love of Christ with others and to be a testimony of Your faithfulness. We ask this in Jesus' name.
In addition, we want to encourage you to be persistent in your pursuit of benefits for your child. Do not be discouraged if you face obstacles or setbacks, but continue to seek help and trust in God's provision.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is important to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. As it says in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
And in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!
Therefore, we encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus Christ, and to share the good news of salvation with others.
