I know exactly how you feel. I am on disability, and I get food stamps and help with Medicare premiums. They have seriously cut down on staff. I never have had to go down to Department of Social services until the past couple of years. The forms are obsolete. They have everything on computer, but they make you go get the proof anyway. Don't worry. You may run into a few glitches, but I highly doubt you will lose benefits.
