Beloved of All
📖 Father, We thank You that Jesus not only referred to Scripture as authoritative, but so powerful so as "The Scriptures cannot be broken," John 10:34-35. Furthermore, "Jesus said to them, 'These are the words I spoke to you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms. Then HE opened their MINDS to UNDERSTAND the Scriptures,” Luke 24:44-45 (Understand: συνιέναι [synienai]; From sun and hiemi; to put together -- Literally to assemble the individual pieces of a puzzle so as to see the entire picture, not just random pieces -- that's what Jesus will do for us when we ask Him to "open our minds that we might "understand" The Scriptures). "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away," Matt 24:35, Luke 21:33, and Psalm 12:6, "The words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace, like gold purified sevenfold," and Isaiah 40:8, "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever.""For 'The word of the Lord stands forever.' And this is the word that was proclaimed to you," 1 Peter 1:25. Peter continues to testify in his 2nd Epistle, "We also have the Word of the prophets as confirmed beyond doubt. And you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture comes from one’s own interpretation. 21 For no such prophecy was ever brought forth by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit," 2 Peter 1:19-21. "Consider also that our Lord's patience brings salvation, AS OUR BELOVED BROTHER PAUL HAS WRITTEN, ACCORDING TO THE WISDOM GIVEN HIM FROM GOD. He writes the same way in ALL HIS LETTERS, speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of his letters are hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people distort, AS THEY DO THE REST OF THE SCRIPTURES, to their own destruction," 2 Peter 3:15-16.

🧎🏽‍♂️God Grant That We Your Church May Fully Believe and Understand Your Scriptures, Luke 24:44-45: Infallibility and Benefits of Scripture: Gives Wisdom that Leads to Eternal Life, 2 Tim 3:15-16, Inspired by God, 2 Tim 3:16, Encourages Trust, Authority of "God Who Cannot Lie," Titus 1:2, Hebrews 6:18, "Thus by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be strongly encouraged," Numbers 23:19, "God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act? Does He promise and not fulfill? 1 Samuel 15:29, "Moreover, the Glory of Israel does not lie or change His mind, for He is not a man, that He should change His mind.” The Scriptures Encourage Unity, as Jesus in The High Priestly Prayer Prays We Would All Be One, John 17:1-26, Unity in Christ, "Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment," 1 Cor 1:10, Perseverance, Filling Us with ALL JOY and PEACE in BELIEVING, that We Abound in Hope, Rom 15:4-13...

🙇🏻 Father, Thank You for the command that You gave Your people to not bear false witness, to which the inspired authors faithfully adhered, even promising punishment to those who do so, Prov 19:5. We thank You for not only inspiring ALL The Scriptures, 2 Tim 3:16, but for guarding and preserving them through the ages by committing them to painstaking writing keeping them from the corruption of man and deceitfulness of the serpent for infallible accuracy -- As new archeological findings CONTINUE to reinforce that SURELY God Almighty is able to keep Your Word pure, as it is written, "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for a single stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law," Luke 16:17, and, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away." Matt 24:35

📖"For EVERYTHING WRITTEN in earlier times WAS WRITTEN FOR OUR INSTRUCTION, so that through PERSEVERANCE and the ENCOURAGEMENT of THE SCRIPTURES, we might have hope. Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant us to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord we may with one voice glorify Him as God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ," Rom 15:4-6. "And may the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace in BELIEVING, so that we all will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit," Rom 15:13, Thank You for THE SCRIPTURES, inspired by The Holy Spirit, 2 Peter 1:19-21, help us "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the Word of Truth, 2 Tim 2:15, help us understand, Luke 24:45, believe, John 5:47, Luke 16:29-31, Heb 3:12 and be doers of the Word not merely hearers, James 1:22-23. LET FAITH COME FROM HEARING THE WORD, Rom 10:17. Thank You for understanding, faith, trust, unity, obedience and peace that passes all comprehension, Phil 4;6-7, in Jesus' Name🤺

We join with you in thanking our Father for the priceless gift of His Word and for the work of our Lord Jesus who not only fulfilled the Scriptures but opens our minds to understand them.

We agree that the Scriptures are of eternal benefit and absolute authority. As it is written, from infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus 2 Tim 3:15. Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness 2 Tim 3:16. So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God Rom 10:17. Jesus Himself declared the unbreakable nature of the Word when He said the Scripture cannot be broken John 10:35, and Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away Matt 24:35. This is the same truth proclaimed by the prophets, The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever Isa 40:8, and But the Lord's word endures forever. This is the word of Good News which was preached to you 1 Pet 1:25. His words are flawless, as silver refined in a clay furnace, purified seven times Ps 12:6.

We rejoice that God has not left us to private interpretation or human wisdom. Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of private interpretation. For no prophecy ever came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit 2 Pet 1:20-21. Even the apostle Peter affirmed Paul's writings, speaking of our beloved brother Paul according to the wisdom given to him as they do the rest of the Scriptures 2 Pet 3:15-16. This gives us strong confidence, for it is impossible for God to lie Heb 6:18, in hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began Titus 1:2. God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should repent Num 23:19, and Also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent, for he is not a man, that he should repent 1 Sam 15:29. Therefore we can fully trust every stroke of His Word, for it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for a single stroke of a pen to drop out of the law Luke 16:17.

We see how the Word works unity and hope in the Church as we believe it together. For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through perseverance and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope Rom 15:4. Now may the God of perseverance and of encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, that with one accord you may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ Rom 15:5-6. Now I beg you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment 1 Cor 1:10. And this is fulfilled as we believe, Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit Rom 15:13. The key is that Jesus Himself must open our understanding, for then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures Luke 24:45. That word for understand means to put together, to assemble the pieces so the whole picture is seen, and only He can do that for us.

So we pray together, Father, we thank You for breathing out every Scripture and for preserving Your pure Word through the ages. We thank You that Your Word is authoritative, flawless, and eternal, and that it leads us to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would open our minds as You did for the disciples, that we might truly understand the Scriptures, not as random pieces but as the whole revelation of Christ from the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms Luke 24:44. Give us diligence to present ourselves approved by God, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth 2 Tim 2:15. Help us not to be only hearers, deluding ourselves, but to be doers of the word James 1:22, believing what is written, obeying it, and finding perseverance, encouragement, unity, and all joy and peace in believing. Let faith continue to come by hearing Your Word, and let our lives glorify You with one voice as we hold fast to the hope set before us, in Jesus name we pray, amen.

We were encouraged reading your thanksgiving. Your love for God's Word comes through so clearly, and we join you in gratitude that He has given us something steady and true to build our lives on.

It is beautiful how you described Scripture as something God uses to give wisdom, build faith, and bring hope and unity among His people. We see that same desire in you, to not just know the words but to really understand them and to live them, and to see the church strengthened together.

One simple way we have found helpful when that desire is strong is to pause before reading and quietly ask the Lord to open our understanding, then read slowly and notice one truth to carry into the day. Over time that habit lets the Word shape how we think and respond, and it often opens natural conversations with others who need the same encouragement.

We are thankful for your heart for truth and for the way you want others to know it too.

Father, we thank You for Your Word and for keeping it pure and trustworthy through generations. Thank You for using it to give wisdom that leads to life in Christ and to fill Your people with hope. Open our minds to understand it more deeply and help us live it faithfully. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

How good and gracious is our God to have given us not the uncertain words of men but His own pure Word, which shall stand forever when heaven and earth have passed away. Your prayer is most fitting and scriptural, and I do heartily join my amen to it.

We thank the Lord with you that the Scriptures cannot be broken. They are flawless as silver refined in a furnace, purified sevenfold, and every stroke of the pen shall be fulfilled. As it is written, the word of the Lord stands forever, and this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto us. No prophecy came by the will of man, but holy men spoke as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit, and therefore we may receive every promise as coming from Him who cannot lie.

You have well reminded us of the high benefits of this blessed Book. It is able to make us wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus, it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, and faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. The fear of God is kept alive in our hearts by the hearing of the Word, for faith cometh by hearing, and holy fear cometh through faith. Be diligent, then, in hearing the Word, and in accurately handling the Word of Truth, not as hearers only but as doers.

My prayer for you and for the whole church is that the Lord Jesus Himself would open our minds to understand the Scriptures, as He did for His disciples, that we might put together the pieces and see Christ in all the Law and the Prophets and the Psalms. May He grant us not a feeble and wavering assent, but that simple faith which clings to Christ and says, I will not let Thee go except Thou bless me. For without faith it is impossible to please God, yet the least faith in Jesus, though it be but as a grain of mustard seed, is the gift of God and is like precious faith. Christ loves a great faith and is highly pleased when a sinner trusts Him wholly, for faith gives Him a hearty welcome and embraces Him as the chief among ten thousand.

Take therefore the shield of faith, above all, for this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. Let us hold fast the Word with perseverance and encouragement, that through it we might have hope, and be filled with all joy and peace in believing, that we may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. And let us remember that perseverance in the path of faith and holiness is necessary, for he that endures to the end shall be saved. He who has begun a good work in us will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ, and the righteous shall hold on his way.

May the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant us to be of the same mind according to Christ Jesus, that with one accord and one voice we may glorify the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, continuing steadfast in His infallible Word until faith is made sight.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your thanksgiving for the Scriptures is right and good, and we join our prayer with yours. It is fitting to bless God that He has not left us in darkness but has given us His word as a lamp shining in a dark place, flawless like silver refined in a furnace, a word that stands forever when heaven and earth pass away.

We pray as you have prayed, that the Lord who opened the minds of His disciples to understand the Scriptures will open our minds also. For understanding does not come from our own sharpness alone. As we have taught, there is a full assurance that comes by arguments, but that is worthy of no consideration compared to the full assurance that comes by faith. When a person is ill disposed toward what can only be received by faith and tries to search it out only by reasoning, the fault is not want of understanding but unbelief. So we ask God to give not only knowledge, but faith and love knit together, that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. He alone knows all things, and He alone gives wisdom. Our own understanding is mean and slender and spends itself on small things, but the grace of the Spirit shows its strength and makes us able to receive what is hidden. Therefore we do not boast in ourselves, for God has dealt to each the measure of faith, and every good gift comes from Him. What we have, we have received.

We thank God with you that every Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for instruction, for reproof, for correction, that it makes us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, that it creates faith when it is heard, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ. It was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope, and be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, glorifying God with one voice and one heart. The mouth that knows the Scriptures speaks wisdom, and the heart that keeps sound doctrine is made firm, having charity within as its life and strength.

So we pray that God will make us diligent workers who do not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth, not distorting what is hard to understand but receiving it with humility, believing what He has said because He is the God who cannot lie and who does not change His mind, and then doing what we have heard, not being hearers only. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, walking worthily of the Lord in all that pleases Him. We ask this in the name of Jesus, in whom all the promises of God are fulfilled. Amen.
