Beloved of All
📖 Father, We thank You that Jesus not only referred to Scripture as authoritative, unable to be broken, but "Jesus said to them, 'These are the words I spoke to you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms. Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,” Luke 24:44-45. "For 'The word of the Lord stands forever.' And this is the word that was proclaimed to you," 1 Peter 1:25. Peter continues to testify in his 2nd Epistle, "We also have the Word of the prophets as confirmed beyond doubt. And you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture comes from one’s own interpretation. 21 For no such prophecy was ever brought forth by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit," 2 Peter 1:19-21. "Consider also that our Lord's patience brings salvation, AS OUR BELOVED BROTHER PAUL HAS WRITTEN, ACCORDING TO THE WISDOM GIVEN HIM FROM GOD. He writes the same way in ALL HIS LETTERS, speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of his letters are hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people distort, AS THEY DO THE REST OF THE SCRIPTURES, to their own destruction," 2 Peter 3:15-16.

🧎🏽‍♂️God Grant That We Your Church May Fully Believe and Understand Your Scriptures, Luke 24:44-45: Infallibility and Benefits of Scripture: Gives Wisdom that Leads to Eternal Life, 2 Tim 3:15-16, Inspired by God, 2 Tim 3:16, Encourages Trust, Authority of "God Who Cannot Lie," Titus 1:2, Hebrews 6:18, "Thus by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be strongly encouraged," Numbers 23:19, "God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act? Does He promise and not fulfill? 1 Samuel 15:29, "Moreover, the Glory of Israel does not lie or change His mind, for He is not a man, that He should change His mind.” The Scriptures Encourage Unity, as Jesus in The High Priestly Prayer Prays We Would All Be One, John 17:1-26, Unity in Christ, "Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment," 1 Cor 1:10, Perseverance, Filling Us with ALL JOY and PEACE in BELIEVING, that We Abound in Hope, Rom 15:4-13...

🙇🏻 Father, Thank You for the command that You gave Your people to not bear false witness, to which the inspired authors faithfully adhered, even promising punishment to those who do so, Prov 19:5. We thank You for not only inspiring ALL The Scriptures, 2 Tim 3:16, but for guarding and preserving them through the ages by committing them to painstaking writing keeping them from the corruption of man and deceitfulness of the serpent for infallible accuracy -- As new archeological findings CONTINUE to reinforce that SURELY God Almighty is able to keep Your Word pure, as it is written, Luke 16:17, "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for a single stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law," and Matthew 24:35, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away," and Luke 21:33, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away," and Psalm 12:6, "The words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace, like gold purified sevenfold," and Isaiah 40:8, "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever."

đź“–"For EVERYTHING WRITTEN in earlier times WAS WRITTEN FOR OUR INSTRUCTION, so that through PERSEVERANCE and the ENCOURAGEMENT of THE SCRIPTURES, we might have hope. Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant us to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord we may with one voice glorify Him as God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ," Rom 15:4-6. "And may the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace in BELIEVING, so that we all will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit," Rom 15:13, Thank You for THE SCRIPTURES, inspired by The Holy Spirit, 2 Peter 1:19-21, help us "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the Word of Truth, 2 Tim 2:15, help us understand, Luke 24:45, believe, John 5:47, Luke 16:29-31, Heb 3:12 and be doers of the Word not merely hearers, James 1:22-23. LET FAITH COME FROM HEARING THE WORD, Rom 10:17. Thank You in Jesus' Name.[/size]

We join you in thanking our Father for the firm foundation of His Word and for lifting up the beauty and benefits of Scripture with such reverence. We agree that the Scriptures are not mere writings of men but are breathed out by God, authoritative, unbreakable, and preserved forever by His power.

We love how you have recalled that Jesus Himself treated Scripture as unable to be broken and fulfilled everything written about Him in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms, and that He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:44-45. We cling to the promise that the word of the Lord stands forever, 1 Peter 1:25, and that the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace, like gold purified sevenfold, Psalm 12:6. Though the grass withers and the flowers fall, the word of our God stands forever, Isa 40:8, and it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for a single stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law, Luke 16:17. Heaven and earth will pass away, but His words will never pass away, Matt 24:35.

We rejoice with you in the benefits you have named. From infancy the sacred writings are able to make us wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15, and all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, 2 Tim 3:16. We have the Word of the prophets as confirmed beyond doubt, and we do well to pay attention to it as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in our hearts, 2 Peter 1:19. For no prophecy of Scripture comes from one's own interpretation, for no such prophecy was ever brought forth by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit, 2 Peter 1:20-21. Even as Peter affirmed Paul's letters as Scripture, we see that some parts are hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction, 2 Peter 3:16, so we must handle the Word with diligence and humility.

We also give thanks that our God cannot lie, Titus 1:2, and that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be strongly encouraged, Heb 6:18. God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind, Num 23:19, and the Glory of Israel does not lie or change His mind, for He is not a man that He should change His mind, 1 Sam 15:29. Therefore His Word is a sure anchor for trust, unity, perseverance, joy and peace.

We pray together now.

Father, we thank You for Your holy and preserved Word. We thank You that You have not left us to wander, but have spoken clearly, faithfully, and truthfully through Your prophets and apostles as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. Thank You for guarding Your Word through the ages and keeping it pure from the corruption of man and the deceitfulness of the enemy. We ask that You open our minds to understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45, and sanctify us in Your truth, for Your word is truth, John 17:17. Help us to be diligent to present ourselves approved to God as workers who do not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the Word of Truth, 2 Tim 2:15.

Lord Jesus, we thank You that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ, Rom 10:17. Make us not merely hearers but doers of the Word, James 1:22, believing all that You have spoken, John 5:47, and walking in obedience. Fill us with all joy and peace in believing, so that we will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit, Rom 15:13. Grant us, Your church, to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord we may with one voice glorify You as God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Rom 15:5-6, even as You prayed that we would all be one, John 17:21, and as we are urged that there be no divisions among us but that we be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment, 1 Cor 1:10.

We thank You that everything written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope, Rom 15:4. Let Your Word continue to be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, Psalm 119:105, strengthening our trust and keeping us from bearing false witness, for a false witness will not go unpunished, Prov 19:5. Keep us from distorting Your Word and keep us faithful until the day dawns.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life, and through whom we have access to You and eternal life. Amen.

We join you in thanking God for the gift of His Word and for the way you have lifted up its faithfulness. Your gratitude is contagious and it encourages us to pause and give thanks again for a foundation that does not shift.

We hear in your prayer a deep love for the way Scripture instructs, steadies, and brings hope and unity among believers. It is a kindness of God that He has not left us without direction, but has preserved His truth so we can trust it, return to it, and be shaped by it together.

One simple way to keep this thanksgiving alive is to carry one truth that has recently encouraged you and share it with someone in your church family this week, whether in conversation or in prayer together. Gratitude grows when it is spoken aloud. We are praying your own time in the Word stays fresh and steady, and that the encouragement you have found spills over to those around you.

Father, we thank You with our brother and sister for Your Word and for keeping it for us through every generation. Keep our hearts soft to receive it, faithful to live it, and joyful to share it. Fill Your church with unity and hope as we trust You more. In Jesus' name, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We give thanks with you for the sure and steadfast Word of our God, which stands forever when heaven and earth shall pass away. It is a great mercy to rest upon that Scripture which cannot be broken, for as our Lord Himself has shown us, we cannot be wrong in imitating His reverence for it. As for us and for our house, this priceless Book shall remain the standard of our faith and the ground of our hope so long as we live.

We join you in praising the Lord that He has not left us in darkness, but has given us a lamp shining in a dark place until the day dawns. Every line bears an infinite majesty, but especially that part where the Lord reveals His glorious plan of saving grace in the person of His dear Son Jesus Christ. The cross of Christ has a great claim upon us, and the Scriptures are able to make us wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. For no prophecy was ever brought forth by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit, and all Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for us.

We pray with you that the Lord will open your minds to understand the Scriptures, as He opened the minds of His disciples, that you may not only hear but believe and be doers of the Word. Because the mouth of the Lord has spoken it, we feel bound to speak His Word with diligence as often as we can and with perseverance as long as we live. The truths revealed there are worth living for and dying for.

May the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be diligent in hearing the Word, for faith comes by hearing, and holy fear and hope come through faith. May He keep alive in you that faith which clings to Christ and will not let Him go except He bless you, for Christ loves such faith and is highly pleased when a sinner trusts Him wholly. He is the chief among ten thousand to faith, and faith gives Him a hearty welcome.

And may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit, being of one mind and one voice to glorify the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ, and will preserve you in holiness, for they shall not depart from Him whom He has taught to fear His name. We pray that you may accurately handle the Word of truth and find in it daily encouragement, unity, and the strong consolation of Him who cannot lie.

We thank God for your steadfast love for His Word and pray He will establish you more and more upon this firm foundation, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
