Being shocked andburned

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I’m being shocked by a drone overhead while I try to sleep. This has gone on for years. They prevent you from sleeping to keep your body in a state of ptsd, they sexually assault. I’m exhausted. Please pray God would get me out of this and if he can raise others to life and bring them back from the dead that he would forgive me for being suicidal and bring me back to reality and life in Jesus’ name.

We have heard your cry and we are lifting you up together before the Father in Jesus' name, thanking Him that you have called upon the name of Jesus for help and for life, for it is only by that name that we have access to God and hope of salvation. We thank God that you reached out even in this deep exhaustion and distress.

We grieve with you over the years of sleeplessness, trauma, and the violation you have endured. The Lord sees all that has been done to you and He is near to you in this brokenness. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We pray for His healing to touch the deep places of trauma and exhaustion in your body, mind and spirit. Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We understand you are feeling overwhelmed, in a state of constant fear and sleeplessness, and that you have had thoughts of suicide. Please hear that we care about your life deeply and God cares even more. He has not abandoned you and His forgiveness is complete for you in Christ. There is no sin, no thought, no despair that can separate you from His love when you belong to Jesus. Romans 8:38-39 says For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 1 John 1:9 says If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We pray you will receive His forgiveness and His cleansing right now and know that He does not condemn you for crying out in your pain, but He draws near to restore you. He is the God who raises the dead, and He is able to bring you back to reality, to life, and to peace. We pray for that resurrection power to work in you.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up Your precious child to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask You to forgive, to cleanse, and to comfort. We ask You to break every assault against body and mind and to place Your hedge of protection around Your child as You promise in Psalm 91:1 that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Lord, You neither slumber nor sleep as it says in Psalm 121:4, and we ask You to guard this dear one through the night watches. We pray for deep, safe, peaceful sleep, for You give sleep to Your beloved as it says in Psalm 127:2 and in Psalm 4:8 In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. We rebuke every work of darkness, every spirit of fear, torment and violation, and we ask You to replace fear with Your perfect love and sound mind. We ask You to bring reality, clarity and grounded peace, and to restore life and hope where exhaustion and trauma have worn so thin. We pray for healing from PTSD and for strength to the body that has been kept from rest for so long. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We claim that restoration now. Lead this heart when it is overwhelmed to the rock that is higher as it says in Psalm 61:2. Let Your peace which passes all understanding guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We encourage you to continue to call upon Jesus daily, to cast every worry on Him because He cares for you as it says in 1 Peter 5:7. Matthew 11:28 says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Bring your sleeplessness, your fear, your memories of assault to Him in honest prayer, even with few words, and let His Word dwell in you. Read the Psalms aloud at night and let His promises be your shelter.

We also urge you, because you are so exhausted and feeling unsafe, not to walk through this alone. Please reach out right away to a trusted pastor, a mature Christian believer, a counselor, and a medical professional who can help you find safe sleep and care for the trauma you have endured. If you feel unsafe or that you may act on suicidal thoughts, please tell someone near you immediately or go to a safe place and call for help, and if you have a trusted doctor or counselor, let them know about the severe sleep deprivation and distress you are experiencing so they can support your body and mind toward healing. God often brings His help through His people and through those He has gifted to care for our health. You are precious to God and your life has great value to Him and to others.

We will continue to pray that God will get you out of this torment, that He will surround you with His presence, that He will grant you restorative sleep, deliverance from fear, healing from every wound, and a renewed sense of His reality and life filling you again. May the Lord bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you and give you peace. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your cry has come before us in much weariness and sorrow, and we have heard the weight of exhaustion, fear and distress that you carry after years without rest. You have asked for prayer that God would deliver you, forgive you, and bring you back to reality and life in Jesus Christ, and we do pray for you to that end.

Hear this blessed whisper which God Himself gives to the trembling and penitent heart, There is forgiveness. There is forgiveness with God. It is not a forgiveness from man, which may be withheld, but a divine forgiveness, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. It is a surprising forgiveness, so free and so full that it seems too great to be true, yet it is true. It is a complete forgiveness, not a partial payment, but an absolute forgiveness of the debt, the record nailed to the Cross. And it is an eternal forgiveness, for the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. He never plays fast and loose with men.

Do as that poor man did who lay in the presence of Jesus, hoping and expecting both forgiveness and healing. Though you feel yourself to be the chief of sinners, there is forgiveness even for you, whatever your sins may have been up until now. If you tremble and shake for fear and with a penitent heart desire forgiveness, that forgiveness is to be obtained from God through Jesus Christ His Son, who died the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. Believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself. The tally is destroyed for every repenting and believing sinner who trusts in Christ.

You have confessed thoughts of ending your life and asked if God can forgive you for being suicidal. O soul, there is forgiveness. Where God draws no limit, do not you draw any. There is forgiveness with Him, without abridging or qualifying words. He not only forgave at the first all our sins, but He continues daily to forgive, for the act of forgiveness is a continuous one. Come to Him just as you are, and put your trust in Christ, and hear His word, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins be forgiven thee.

With this forgiveness there comes also healing. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, pardon and healing were one. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We pray that the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon you with healing in His wings, that He would give you sleep, quietness of mind, and rest for your body and spirit, and keep you from all harm and assault.

Let us pray for you now.

O Lord our God, with whom there is forgiveness, look upon this weary one who is exhausted and tormented and unable to sleep. Thou knowest the distress and fear that overwhelms, and Thou knowest the thoughts of despair. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, that Thou wouldst grant full and present forgiveness through His blood, and speak peace to this troubled heart. Bring this dear one back to reality and to life, as Thou only canst raise from the dead and give new life. Guard this life, grant safe and quiet sleep, deliver from all evil, and surround with Thy protecting presence. Heal that which sin and suffering have broken, and let Thy healing leaves restore. Draw near by Thy Holy Spirit, and give strength to seek and to find help and comfort among Thy people.

We urge you, even as we pray, not to bear this burden alone. If these thoughts press heavily upon you, reach at once to a trusted pastor, a faithful friend or family member, a counselor or medical professional, and let them walk with you in the days ahead. If you feel you may act upon thoughts of harming yourself, please seek immediate help from someone near you or contact a crisis helpline in your country, in the United States you may call or text ###, in Canada ###, in the United Kingdom Samaritans at ###, or search for your local helpline. You are not forgotten, and help can be near at hand.

We will continue to pray that the Lord, with whom there is forgiveness, will keep you, heal you, and bring you into the fullness of life in Christ Jesus, in whose name we ask all these things.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your words have been heard, and the heaviness and exhaustion you describe after years of being unable to sleep, of being harmed and sexually assaulted, and of living in a constant state of fear is taken before God with great seriousness and compassion. To be deprived of sleep and to feel unsafe even in the night is a deep affliction, and God sees the torment you have endured and your longing to be brought back to reality and to life.

You asked for forgiveness for suicidal thoughts and for God to bring you back to life in Jesus name, and that is a prayer God delights to answer. The Scriptures teach that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and that when we turn to Him with a repentant heart He forgives and washes away our sins. One of the greatest traps of the evil one is not only to wound us through sin and suffering, but then to persuade us to despair, to believe that we are beyond forgiveness or beyond restoration. To sin wounds us, but to despair keeps us from the remedy. Do not give place to that despair. Even if we sin every day, we are to draw near to God, entreating Him, asking forgiveness, and trusting His lovingkindness. He never gives up on us, and we must not give up on His mercy. If you have felt that you have lost much time or that you have fallen far, it is still possible in a short time by His grace to recover, because His power is made perfect in our weakness.

I pray for you now that the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is our life and resurrection, would forgive you, lift this burden of despair, and bring you back into the fullness of life in Him. I pray that He would guard your body and mind as you sleep, for He who keeps His people neither slumbers nor sleeps, and that He would grant you safe, quiet rest and protection from every assault and fear. I pray that He would heal the trauma and exhaustion in your body, calm the memories that keep you in a state of constant alarm, and restore to you a clear and sober mind and a sense of reality rooted in His peace. I pray that He would surround you with faithful people who can help bear this burden with you and keep you safe.

Shake off the sleep of hopelessness as much as you are able and keep watching with sobriety, calling upon Christ throughout the day and night. Even when we are pressed on every side and perplexed, we are not crushed and not driven to despair, because God does not forsake us. His work is often like a tree that receives many blows before it bears fruit, so do not think your prayers are in vain because relief has not come at once. God is working even when you cannot yet see the fruit.

Please do not remain alone with these thoughts. Reach out today to a trusted pastor, a mature believer, a counselor or medical provider, and if you feel you may act on thoughts of ending your life, seek help immediately from someone near you or a crisis helpline in your area. You are not abandoned, and your life is precious to God. Continue to bring every part of this suffering to Jesus, asking for His forgiveness, His protection, and His life to reign in you, and trust that by His grace He will lead you into the good things He has prepared for those who love Him.
