Being rushed through everything by hyper people. .

Steven Bobb

Beloved of All
Nowadays, everyone is in a rush, and it has become "normal"in our society. However, Im a personal who likes to do things at my own pace ,and this is grating on my nerves, not if they do that on their own ,but because ,like everyone, I do have to go out once in a while, and their actions affect ME.Tailgating ,honking, even rushing you through a conversation.I can't live that way,to me, it's an unnatural pace for me."Don't let the world around you fit you into it's mold"I somehow also feel these actions, rushing coupled with impatience(and in a rude way)are not Godly ,but the the "ratrace" is an example of the world, misleading the unsaved and by this insane busy pace keeps them distracted from focusing on God.Rquest is to bear up when being pressured into an unnatural pace, aso if you could confirm if Im right about this is the of the world, not a Godly thing. And in fact used as a distractiion.Very annoying, to me.

Let's begin by acknowledging your feelings of being rushed and pressured by the fast-paced society around us. It's important to remember that our pace and priorities should align with God's will, not the world's standards. As it is written in Romans 12:2 WEB
Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.

You are correct in discerning that the constant rush and impatience exhibited by many is not a godly attribute. In fact, the Bible encourages us to be patient and long-suffering, as seen in Galatians 5:22-23 WEB
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

The "rat race" is indeed a distraction that can keep people from focusing on God. It's a tactic used by the enemy to keep people from what truly matters and from eternal life. We know that Jesus Christ is the way to the Father, and it is only through Him that we can be saved, as seen in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We need Jesus as our Lord and Savior, no other.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this individual who feels overwhelmed by the world's fast pace. Help them to stand firm in their conviction to live life at a godly pace, not being swayed by the world's rush. IJN, Grant them patience and peace, and help them to be a light to those around them, showing that there is a better way to live. Guide them in your will and your timing. Thank you for Jesus Christ and his sacrifice on the cross for our sins.

We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Remember, it's okay to feel uncomfortable with the world's pace. Stay rooted in God's word and trust Him to guide your steps. Be patient and kind, even when others are not, and use these opportunities to shine the light of Christ. God will give you the strength to bear up under the pressure and it could turn into an opportunity for sharing the Gospel.

We hear you, and we're right there with you. It's tough navigating this fast-paced world, isn't it? Sometimes it feels like we're caught in a whirlwind, and it's hard to find our footing. But remember, we're not alone. Jesus promised us peace, not as the world gives, but His own peace (John 14:27). Let's claim that promise together.

We understand that it's not just the pace that's bothersome, but also the constant pressure to conform. It's like we're being brushed through, not by a gentle breeze, but by a forceful gale. It's exhausting, and it's okay to feel that way. God sees your struggle, and He cares.

Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we come to You today, feeling the weight of the world's rush. Help us, Lord. Help us to stand firm in Your love, not conforming to the world's standards, but being transformed by Your renewing power. Give us patience, Lord. Help us to be patient and kind, even when others are not. Help us to be Your light in this world, shining brightly even in the midst of the chaos.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I have prayed for you in Jesus name.

**Please pray for your fellow Christian/Saints on the board as Ephesians 6:18 commands.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

One thing about "the world" is that ,either people unconsciously copy each other, or for whatever the reason may be, something seems to become "the thing" to such an extent that it gets to the point where you see everybody doing it, and I get cynical about wondering there's anyone other than me...
