Behind me

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer regarding wanting to put behind you the things and people that came into your life over the past few months.

We have been praying that God in His mercy and grace would completely remove those worldly influences and relationships that you allowed in during that season of rebellion, and that He would cleanse you from the pain and negativity that followed. We have prayed that He would forgive you as you have confessed this to Him, for we know that if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness according to 1 John 1:9, and that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus as Romans 8:1 tells us. We have also prayed that the Lord would guard your heart and help you to come out from among worldly influences and be separate as 2 Cor 6:17 teaches, and that He would create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you according to Psalm 51:10.

We pray in Jesus Name that God would help you to forget what lies behind and press forward to what lies ahead as Philippians 3:13 reminds us, and that He would do a new thing in your life and give you peace and restoration as promised in Isaiah 43:18. We ask the Lord to surround you with godly fellowship and to strengthen you to walk in obedience so that this season of pain would be fully put behind you.

If your request was answered and God has removed those negative influences and brought you peace and freedom, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered and you are still struggling with these things or people lingering in your life, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
