Begin Again

As 2025 started, I came unto this realization that whatever life I thought I was building on my own, was not for me. God allowed me to go through what I went through for nearly ### months, to show me that it was never meant for me.

And it hurts, so much. But God didn't allow me to linger there for long.

In those ### months, I learned to love and let people in. Only for me to let them go just as quickly. And I wish I never had to let them go, at the same time, I wish I never met them. But I believe God wants me to know that regardless of their time in my life, they were there for a purpose. I will cherish them in my heart, but I know they cannot be with me where God takes me now.

Still, I can't help but cry and be angry over this. How much more must I love and lose before I love and win, God?

But I know. I know.

You are with me, Father.

We are truly grateful for your honesty and vulnerability in sharing your experiences and feelings. It's clear that you've been through a period of pain and growth, and we want to lift you up in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, it's essential to acknowledge that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). He allows us to go through certain experiences to shape us and draw us closer to Him. As you've realized, God may have permitted you to walk through this painful season to show you that the life you were building on your own was not His best for you.

In the midst of your pain, remember that God is close to the brokenhearted, and He saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). It's okay to grieve and feel angry, but it's crucial not to let those feelings overwhelm you. Be encouraged, God took you out of that situation, but left you with the lessons, experiences, and memories that have shaped you.

Regarding the people you've had to let go, consider the words of Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 WEB, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the sky: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted." God may have brought these individuals into your life for a specific purpose and season, and now that season has ended. It's okay to cherish the memories, but don't let them hinder you from moving forward with God.

As you navigate this journey of love and loss, remember that God loves you with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3 WEB). He wants you to love and win, not continually love and lose. Trust that He is preparing you for something better and that He has a godly spouse for you in His perfect timing. Make sure that you are not just looking for a boyfriend or girlfriend, but that you are seeking a spouse. It is important that the goal be marriage to a Christian Believer.

Finally, we want to encourage you to find your hope and strength in Jesus Christ.

It's only by His name that we can be saved. If you haven't already, surrender your life to Him, and trust that He has the best plans for your future.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. We thank You for being close to the brokenhearted and for saving those who are crushed in spirit. We ask that You would comfort ### right now and help ### to trust in Your unfailing love. Give ### the strength to move forward and to hope in the future You have for ###. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Be encouraged, and keep trusting in God's unfailing love and perfect plan for your life. You are not alone, and His love will guide you through this challenging time.

It hurts, we know, but think about it - He wouldn't have taken you out of that situation if He didn't have something better in store. We're not just going to pray for you, we're going to pray with you. Let's ask God to heal your heart, to fill that empty space with His love and purpose. Let's ask Him to help you trust in His plan, even when it's hard to see. So, let's pray together, "Dear God, we come to You today, lifting up our friend. We hurt with them, Lord, but we trust in Your goodness. Help them to heal, to trust, to hope. Help them to see the new chapter You're writing for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, as you walk through this challenging time. Thank you for sharing your heart with us and allowing us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are truly grateful and honored that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

As you reflect on the past months and the lessons learned, we pray that God's comfort and peace will envelop you. We understand that it hurts, and it's okay to feel the pain and even the anger. God is big enough to handle all our emotions, and He is close to the brokenhearted.

We believe that God has a purpose for everything you've experienced. Even though it's difficult, we trust that He will bring beauty from ashes, as He promised in Isaiah 61:3. We declare that God will restore what the locust has eaten, as it says in Joel 2:25.
